In-Character Information
Character’s name: Gloyn Ilmig of Izan
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Dwarf
Character’s age: 351 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Gloyn was a dwarf who only came to prominence in the land of the fringe in a small village near the capital Kal Arkon. He was a Legionnaire, like many others, imbedded in a hill fort like many others, sitting, waiting for more battles to come as many of his Kin. Throughout his service, he came to be moved back into a engineering platoon after his tinkering came to actually be considered useful, contracting crafty traps and dangerous contraptions, and eventually found himself invited into a engineering guild in the capital. Now retired, Gloyn spends his days as a farming engineer creating contraptions for people to work with in the fields, near the capital of Athera Kal’agnar, waiting for a time when he will be called back into service as a veteran warrior and engineer, to use the skills he learnt as a youngbeard in defence of his people and his realm.
Personality Traits: Pretty old, but always up for a giggle or two. And a pint of dwarvish mead. Also can drink a whole gallon of black dwarvish rum. Though not in one sitting.
Ambitions: Glyon wishes to have a happy life to have many of his own beardlings, and serve his people well.
Strengths/Talents: Really hairy feet, good practical mindset for contraptions, and strong- befitting an old dwarf who has laboured his whole life.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Suprisingly bad farmer, ironic really. Have a deep scar running down my left leg, from thigh to shin from an old fight with a piebald orc, giving me a slight limp. An extra toe due to a dwarf genetic anomaly, that can on occassion throw my balance off, especially after a gallon of mead or a pint of black dwarvish rum.A deep dislike of poor poetry as well, driving me to a beserk rage. Other's may not call this a weakness, but... have you heard dwarf poetry?!
