What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is playing a character alongside other players, in a set environment, with the mentality that every player has a story and each story is being told. IF done poorly this could fall upon itself, if played correctly can evolve into an RP world that all can enjoy.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using out of character information in an in character situation. Such as using knowledge gained outside of character to assist yourself or others in character.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming is performing an action to prevent or cause excessive or unrealistic actions to occur while in character.
In-Character Information
Character’s name: Darion
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Human
Character’s age: 27
Biography: Darion can not quite remember his past due to an unknown case of amnesia. Though what he does remember is his fighting prowess, and his name. As well as some more tid bits that appear to be returning, though the amnesia itself is unknown, even to him, he still feels like he's always forgotten something important, something he has tried many a time to remember, but to no avail. He does not pay homage to any particular god, though his belief in them is firm. He was raised by a Drow woman, though where he can not recall, he knows it was surface city with walls, but that is all he can recall of it. Darion is an average man by appearance, though an appearance is only what one can see.
Personality Traits: Darion is strong willed, he carries his blade high, but also knows when it is time to retreat from a fight, especially one he can't win. He watches a battle with precision, making split second decisions, keeping himself open to any and all input from his comrades and whoever just happens to be standing next to him in battle at the time.
Ambitions: He has few ambitions, though he has resolved that if given the chance, he would settle down and start a family, living a quiet life as a blacksmith, though this has not been possible, due to the fact trouble seems to follow him, whether due to his own actions, coincidence, or simply bad luck, he can not seem to fulfill this simplest of dreams.
Strengths/Talents: Darion is a fighter, a wielder of his own blade and his own fate, though this doesn't mean he is strong enough to keep said blade raised alone. Though he has a tendency to find comrades and allies fairly easily, due to his calm demeanor, and easy going ways, along with his strong will to survive and assist said comrades and friends.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Darion has an innate weakness for Drow women, where this comes from is a mystery to even him, though he himself would not openly admit it, for fear he would be exercised from any sane society.
Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Darion is 6' 2" tall with deep red hair. He has a scar across his face, as well as a brand on his right arm and a tattoo on his left arm. He has blue eyes and slightly tanned skin, most likely due to long days in the sun and many hours by a forge. He wears cloth pants, a leather and cloth shirt and coat, and leather and cloth boots.
