Araina grew up and was raised in Annil'sul. Her mother was an alchemist, and her father, a stonemason. She spent most of her time alone, learning trades, stonemasonry, alchemy, and enchanting. Her parents were always gone, out into the wilderness to travel between cities to sell merchandise, or buy whatever they could muster. When she was 25, her father came home one day, no sign of her mother. Her dad fell under a deep depression, wasting all of their money on wine to somehow drunken up his depression. She stayed to herself more often, only going outside to get more wine or whatever food they could afford whether it was rotten or not. She tried saving up money to buy a longbow and a nice set of throwing knives. She wanted to be able to feed herself and him, to say, "I can do it." The money was getting tighter as he drank more and more wine everyday, his liver seemed to be failing to the point where he wouldn't get out of bed anymore, just drink more and more. One day, he held her hand and looked her in the eyes. He nodded, and weakly handed her a atrociously wrapped gift. A bow. Throwing knives. The bow was magnificently crafted. Made out of an Elder tree, it was sturdy with an easy strung string, with a smooth pull-back reflex to it. It felt like she had it for years. The knives were nothing too fancy, made out of iron and bound leather with her name imprinted on each hilt, but they still were beautiful in their own way. She gave a firm nod as her dad slowly passed, taking one of her hands in his, tears slowly rushing down her cheeks as she tries not to sob. She would make him proud one day, even if she wasn't a Wood Elf. She would try to learn archery, and weaponry just to prove she can do it. "I love you," was the last thing he ever said to her. Here she continues to make him and her mother proud wherever they may be now. Her journey's taking her to the Human Capitol of Petrus, she meets a dwarf by the name of Vidar Nali a local farmer from the town of Werdenburg, he takes her with him to live with as he feels sympathy for her story, currently residing with him to this day.
Personality Traits: She's very bubbly, always having a smile on her face when around friends considering what she's dealt with in the past. She can easily cover up a frown with a fake smile, still making people around her feel joy even when she's about to break on the inside. She's easily ticked off, and judges you based on first impressions. She's quiet for the most part, trying to stay out of a crowd or where she's obviously unwanted.
Ambitions: To live life to the fullest, that she doesn't have to live in fear of not making her parents proud or losing those the deeply loves and have to live life in despair. To be able she can do what she can to keep her alive and to keep anyone she meets on the way alive.
Strengths/Talents: She was highly trained in the art of throwing knives, and archery which she caught on quite briskly. It caused he to be swift on foot, and have light steps when walking through the wilds. She had very miniscule training in one handed weaponry, which was mainly self taught from her skill in knives and daggers.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Her skills lack in smithing, she has had some training and lots of potential in stonemasonry from her father, but she still lacks in skill. She was never taught to cook except small things everyone knew how to cook, so her gourmet skills are a bit too much off-par but still good enough to get by on. She has a short fuse, and when set off, there is no calming her down in a short time. It takes her a while to cool down, but she'll easily set you back if you get on her bad side, so it's always good to never betray her in any way.
Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): She stands at about 5'7, weighing about 115lbs. She has fair colored skin with soft brown hair that falls delicately to her lower back that perfectly frames her face. Her eyes are a deep blue/lavender color that stands out behind her hair, and her pale skin. She has a soft face that ends with a sharp chin and jawline. Her lips are a soft pink shade. She wears a white dress with gold trim, with white sandals that reminds her of her mother.
