How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I typed in 'minecraft roleplaying server whitelist' and spent some time browsing.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you set yourself in the mindset of another character and act and speak as if you were truly them, not allowing your own thoughts to influence them.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use information gathered OOC, and act as if you knew it IC all along. An example would be reading someone's character profile on the forums, and then thinking you knew that information in game.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming and god modding sort of fall together, but are slightly different. Powergaming is when you emote for characters beside your own, the other player controls their character, not you. God modding is when you're character is able to barrel through any challenge that faces your character, no matter what.
In-Character Information
Character’s name: Edland Lindholm
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Human
Character’s age: 24
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Edland Lindholm is a young man living in Petrus and is quite used to the cold. Edland is an unusually quiet youth, some of the girls say he is the strong and silent type. Edland looks to be in his mid 20s, and is usually resigned to being reticent, but that is not to say he isn’t friendly. He practices The Faith as does the rest of his family, but has recently taken a keen interest in The Viera. Although Edland is not an Elf nor is he a man at peace in nature, he wishes to learn more of the Druids and their beliefs. This interest arose when Edland met a Druid as a young boy, and was amazed at the wealth of knowledge that flowed from the man.
He grew up in a small home consisting of his mother, father, and younger sister, Alvhild. His father was a shipwright, and Edland was supposed to follow in his father’s footsteps, but he did not. Despite this, Edland is still trained in carpentry on a large as well as small scale. Edland’s father was a raging drunkard, which later affected Edland’s view of alcohol and his personal oath to keep himself from it. His father also was not a supporter of the Holy Oren Empire, and would let this slip occasionally when he was drinking. Edland knew that he should depart when he could, as to not get wrapped up in the sort of trouble that might brew from any possible rebellion. Edland took it upon himself to defend to his sister from his father’s anger, and took many a blow to keep her intact. Protecting his sister, as well as women in general, became a sort of cardinal virtue of his. As his own form of coping with his father, Edland began to spend long periods of time alone, mainly climbing up into solitary areas of Godfrey's Peaks, thinking. He never learned to write, but could read some, and he would bring simple books, usually for children, along with him. His mind molded to that of a philosopher, and Edland began giving advice to friends, becoming a confidant as he tried to help others through their problems and pushing his own to the back of his mind.
This solitude turned Edland into the quiet man he is now, a stoic of sorts. Being stoic does not mean he does not ever release emotion, it is just that release is funneled through different mediums. Injustice and dishonor to his friends or family are to things to bring his blood to a boil. Edland is not a sword fighter, though he is a pugilist, getting himself into local matches when he can. Bringing him to anger is usually a slow, long process, but when he becomes angry, it is rather unpleasant.
Personality Traits: Mostly listed above, though he is stoic, calm, determined, just, and loyal.
Ambitions: Edland wants to learn to read and write, as well as pick up basic smithing techniques.
Strengths/Talents: Pugilist, relatively fit, carpenter, and he is willing to help friends whenever and with whatever they need.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not a sword fighter, perhaps too withdrawn, illiterate, sometimes inconsiderate

He wears his dark brown hair similar to Ragnar Lothbrook from the show Vikings- a mohawk of sorts with a ponytail in the back. He also has a small silver band in his right ear as an earring.
