What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is taking up the persona of somebody else that you have created or somebody has created for you. It is putting yourself in the shoes of somebody else and acting as that person would and doing what that person would. What is metagaming?: Meta gaming is using out of character information in character, so an example of this would be if I were to get into a fight on the server and I told my friends that I was in a fight and told them how to get to me so I would not lose. This would be meta gaming. What is powergaming?: Power gaming is doing something that another person cannot react to and it usually make your character over powered. So an example of this would be for me to go to somebody and emote *Chops your head off* By doing this I would not be giving the other person time to react properly. In-Character Information Character’s name: Gamil Zirak Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Dwarf Character’s age: 109 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Gamil was born in the lands of Anthos, in the kingdom of Urguan. Gamil was born into a family of miners but his father took arms and fought for the great king Thorin Grandaxe for many years until he was able to return home. When Gamil's father had returned Gamil had already started to grow the beginnings of a beard. When Gamil's father had seen this he had decided to teach his son how to fight with a great hammer just like him. Gamil was a quick learner and took a liking to his weapon, he liked the weight of the steel and the bluntness of the head and the momentum it carried when he swung. The years of teaching were quick though, and soon Gamil would have to apply what he had learned when the black scourge had come. The the scourge had come Gamil's father had died and eventually Gamil and his mother had to leave the forsaken lands of Anthos and travel to the fringe. In the fringe not much had happened it was just waiting to be gone from this land, a lot of waiting. But soon they left this place to and came to a place called Thales, here Gamil thought perhaps he would be able to spend the rest of his life. But he was wrong soon Thales had begun to freeze over, crops were dying, and many bandits were running about. So he left on another ship to a place that people had begun to call Athera, here Gamil knew he would make a new life for him and he knew he would be able to stay in this land for a long time. Gamil stepped on the land of Athera and smiled and took a deep breath, he was off the damned ship at last. Gamil did not favor sea travel, it was good to be on solid ground. Gamil then set off to find the Dwarven capital, where he could perhaps take up the life of a miner or even raise his hammer to fight another day. Personality Traits: Gamil is a quiet man, he keeps to himself mostly but if you get to know him you will see that he is a very nice man, and a hard worker. Gamil has a good sense of humor to him too, although he does not trust people easily. Ambitions: Gamil wants to take up the profession of a smith or miner and maybe someday fight again for a new dwarven king. Other than this he wishes to settle in a nice warm home and find a wife and perhaps even have children to raise as his own. Perhaps one day he will even grow old and fat and have children to care for him in his old age. Strengths/Talents: Gamil is a strong man with a good build, he also can hold his temper unlike many other dwarves. Also Gmail can use a war hammer well. Gamil is also very hard working and will complete what he puts his mind to. He will also not give up easily in a task regardless of how hard that task may be. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Gamil may be big and strong but he is slow and not the brightest dwarf. Also when he drinks he tends to drink too much even for a dwarf. Gamil also does not trust people that easily and this makes it hard for him to make many friends. Gamil is also not that great of a swimmer and will easily get seasick on a boat.
