Server listing, looking for a survival server but came upon this Roleplay server and have found great interest in it. What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying, in my opinion, is a way to use characters that are created and used to make stories or to use to have a separate way of playing someone whom you are not and writing the story as people go along. What is metagaming?: Meta-gaming is something of a story based feeling, like a story in a way where the characters and admins to the characters do not know the same things and cannot ever know what is going on between each other. Ex: Knowing someone as an assassin is behind the character but the character wouldn't know unless with the skill to 'find or hearing' otherwise the assassin is unknown to the character but not the admin What is powergaming?: (or in other opinions 'Godmodding') Is something that comes along the lines of out powering the opponent or doing something that wouldn't be fully legit to the surroundings. In-Character Information Character’s name: Satone Yelfrik Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: High Elf Character’s age: (roughly) 215 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Satone Yelfrik had grown up in the Elandriel through his age he had learned to live on his own and find things that worked to help build his ability and intelligence to become a strong independent elven child. His parents weren't around as often as normal due to their own work habits. Though he normally wasn't around often enough to see them after he was able to go out on his own around the city. When Satone hit his 100th birth given day, he was allowed to move out of the city and out onto his own. By then most of the elves had moved towards the new capital that was now Normandor. The Elder Tree that came from the void and reached to the skies as rumors went. He didn't know much as he was busy in training. Working in the art of combat and study of science and blacksmithing from his father. 10years of training in combatant arts with other High Elves brought him into a faster paced yet still inexperienced fighting style. Satone left Elandriel at age 130years. Having learned small science from his mother and a small amount of blacksmithing by watching his father, he had no true skill but his skills in normal traveling would be heightened as he was one with nature itself. He had minor skills in combat compared the the elder elves, but was ready to move on with his own life and to travel. He wouldn't be coming back to the old capital for many years if ever... or so he'd think. 8 years pass since he left his home, having grown used to the forest a few klicks out of city view and more through each season.. He found his survival skills were increasing with each passing of the elven year. Archery for hunts as well as minor beings that yielded threats against hisself.. Though he'd only shoot animals when needed or in self defense. His swordsman skills weren't one of his greatest abilities he was a ranger. Roughly 76 years pass, growing in strength and natural abilities, he came to know trails of animals and ruins that seemed to slowly come and go as age passed. These ruins were those of the Black Scourge.. and from rumors of neighboring cities.. the old elven capital Leumalin. Satone spent days to weeks to travel the ruins only to scout out a city in the process of being rebuild under the large canopy, the city of Luminaire. Satone had come to find he was camped not far from a city that seemed to thrive of elven population.. Stone masoned walls with silver inlining, the grand elven city of Lin'everal.. He didn't know the name of the city but felt he had no desire to go there yet. Satone watched during some days as elven and even human people moved through the forests and other trails while he sat in trees watching and studying each one.. Some were new some weren't. None seemed to notice him while he sat quietly..
Until one day he moved from his camp and came upon a half-breed named Lanii Avarayne while traveling through the forest for medicinal herbs as well as supplies for a small campsite he held in the wilderness. Satone invited her back to his camp where they traded where and whom they were and began traveling as one protecting each other from harm that may come to be. Personality Traits: (not sure how to go along this, but creating a list.) Energetic, cautious, kind, caring, intellectual, protective, and strong. Ambitions: Satone's dream was to become a strong individual and well known in self defense but also become a strong survivor on his own. He'd wish one day to learn magics, mostly in conjuration and evocation. Strengths/Talents: Satone is a strategist as well as a heavy tracker when it comes to animals and their trails. His sense of hearing is exponential. Weaknesses/Inabilities: In-ability to cook properly. (Burns more than created or under cooked). Doesn't like sleeping due to energetic trait(Can tire easier if kept up for multiple days). Satone was never good with others, thus conversation comes a bit harder. He's an individual whom works well his self and finds others would only slow him down. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Skin: Pale to a mild golden mixture. Eyes: Blue (changes from a bright light blue to a darker sea blue) Height-weight: Satone stands a total height of 6'3" and weighs in at 185lbs. Hair: Satone's hair falls flat over his shoulders and down his back to a mid back, its color ranging from white to a silver. Muscle structure: Mild set, smaller shoulder length, slight bulk in pectorals/abdomen. Appears to be humanoid strength but holds more behind his force.
