(a depiction of the stables during the warmer months)
~*The Stables of Honeyhill*~
While the rest of Honeyhill was preparing for the festive season - lanterns were being hung along the burrows carved into the hillsides, trees being decorated from top to bottom, the halflings of the village dawning their Knoxmas clothes - the stables stood devoid of any holiday cheer.
~*~
On the other side of the village, a man can be seen making his way down the dirt road carrying a large sack completely filled with various ornaments and baubles. He maneuvered his way through the various snowballs being flung his way by children spreading their own version of Knoxmas cheer; managing to lose only several of his trinkets along the way. As the man finally made it to the hallowed stables he'd empty the bag onto the floor.
With the decorations out the bag, he quickly began breathing festive life into the previously lackluster structure.
Red and green lanterns were beginning to be fastened to the walls of the stables. Decorations would pop up seemingly instantly throughout the dwelling, becoming more festive by the minute. One by one, each corner was covered in candles, pine, or a snowglobe from time to time. The holiday season was fully underway, and he had to catch up.
As the sun started setting on the hills of Honeyhill, the villager went outside to admire his work. What he saw was a quickly thrown together mess of lights and decorations that did not look particularly pleasing to the eye, but nonetheless it filled him with all sorts of Knoxmas cheer. He gave the place a nod of approval, seeming quite impressed with his shoddy decorating before deciding it was too cold to stay outside any longer and made his way back inside to warm himself up with a cup of tea.

That would literally make things harder to find, as now you would have to look throughout Almaris for your mats instead of at the hubs.
A mine with all materials together would make it harder?

Are there not dedicated node mines (not just ore) in each nation? Seems like it would solve a lot of problems. If other building blocks had mines like iron and gold.

As winds howl through the streets of Honeyhill, Tarron can be found in the comfort of his warm tower dwelling. He fastens the Knoxmas wreath that he made earlier securely onto his wall before moving over to pour himself a cup of cinnamon tea that had been brewing. "The holidays are in full swing, the Knoxmas spirt is thriving in Honeyhill!" Tarron says to himself moving over to watch the festive lights flicker over the rolling hills of the village.

Tarron sits atop his balcony reading the almanac that Filibert had handed him. Reading through each page, he tried his best to learn more about his halfling neighbors.
He looks down to watch several villagers wandering through Honeyhill, others working tirelessly in the fields cultivating their crops. "How thankful I am for these weefolk to have let me stay here with them" Tarren says as he continues watching his newfound friends.

Where would your life be without LotC? I personally have no idea. I started in the latter part of 2015 as the map was shifting over from Athera to Vailor (I believe). From that moment, I believe I played religiously for a good two years. Every day after work/school I would go on the computer to my favorite minecraft server where, truth be told, some of my fondest memories of my teenage years have been made.
As much as I love this server and do not for a second regret stumbling upon it, I do wonder what I would be like if LotC was something that I never came across. Just a fun little thing I think about from time to time as I hop on the server periodically. Anyone else in the same boat?

Sad to hear my man. Glad you have a stable job, though I wish it didn't exhaust you as much.
Try and do SOME kind of physical activity that's non-job related, if you can, I think it'd be nice. Even the humble push-up before bed is something.
Good luck Nick.
Thanks bud, I really do appreciate that:)

I used to try to go to the gym everyday. I was able to go consistently for a good 5-6 months. Then something always happens. Either I go on vacation for a couple days and my routine is broken, or (like what just happened,) I just got a new job as a mechanic. Its a very physical job where I lift things almost all day. My body is exhausted after my ten hour shift so there's just no point in going to the gym, at least right now.
A tip I would say for staying consistent would be to set a timer on your phone for ten minutes when you're at the gym. If after ten minutes, you really don't want to be there, just head home and try again tomorrow. Best advice I've heard and is the only reason I was able to stay as consistent as I was.

As the flier hits Tarron, he quickly grabs it from his face, managing to poke himself in the eye during the process. "Ah this damn Northern wind!" He cries out trying to regain his vision and read the flier. "I hope they'll have biggun sized things" He says continuing to acquaint himself with the village.

You've really outdone yourself with this. Looks amazing. 10/10 easy.

Been trying to get this done for years now. I think it’s a really good thing for new people who joined the server as well as players just roaming around, trying to find some rp. The tavern would just need several dedicated people to keep the rp going.
Fully support this +1

Best character and best lotc memory.
Best character would have to be Nicolas Fireblade because he was my first character and the one I was most attached to. As to the favorite memory.. it’s hard to remember. The time I remember me having the most fun was when I first joined the server. I got into the Viridian Pub and became friends with famous names such as @Sythan and @Pikel Boldshoulder who took me under their wing (so to speak). Whether it was riding around scaring people as skull wearing night riders, or having pub brawl nights, my favorite memories will always be the Viridian.
