I do not believe I will have the power to do this, if I am accepted into the gm team as a trial, although I feel that a positive, fair and hardworking staff team can have a very good impact on the servers activity and quality. 

I believe that there are a number of issues that could be ironed out with a little work, that will result in a positive outcome for the server as a whole, e.g. I believe that the use of 'unwritten rules' is bad as new and old players will not have a guideline to follow, and can often find themselves being banned for things that they were uninformed to being rules. 

I also believe that there are a few raid rules that could be ironed out, as there are common problems arising as a result of them.

To sum up, I think there are a number of issues that I would be interested in trying to resolve, if I pass my application and trial, and am willing to try to work with the current staff to find a solution to these.

Why do you want to join the GM Team?:

I joined the server roughly four years ago and have participated in a number of varied groups, activities, and such in an effort to become more involved in the communities of LoTC and get everything I could from the server.

Now, I have submitted my application because I thoroughly disagree with the claim that LoTC is in a perfected state, because it isn’t. The preservation of LoTC’s prime time has since dwindled; we were once many in number, and now, we barely surmount to two hundred players maximum. In the servers’ prime time, we pressed to a solid three hundred, cities were rampant with activity, and role-play was spread across the map. I’m not saying that I alone could be the saviour to LoTC’s future, but I thoroughly believe that I could aid in making the community a better environment for people to roleplay and have fun.

I have a good understanding of the server rules and mechanics, and feel that I would be helpful and quick to respond to Modreq’s when players need assistance. Another quality I believe is needed to be a good GM, is to be firm. You must enforce the rules equally, on everyone. I believe that I will be a good GM as I am not scared to talk to anyone, I will enforce the rules onto any player, whether or not they are my friends or not.

I understand that my past self on Lord of the craft, was not fit for GM and i was banned a few times for stupid mistakes. Although i hope that i have proven myself since those days, and shown that i am a more competent player and mean well for the server.

PS: Note that I've been part of his guild in the past, been on it for months.

Yennifer, i dont want to restart a fight that happened months ago, but to say that i disregarded those people is unfair, i kicked you from the group as you stabbed me in the back during a fight, i feel i had every right to do so and that it was you that 'displayed utter disregard' to the group. 

Also i understand it may seem that i am doing this for 'power', every new GM will get the same accusation, although that is why there is a trial period for GM's. To show that you are willing to help the server and not abuse for personal gain. I do not doubt for one second that if i abused my perms i would be banned for a considerable time and i do not plan on abusing GM permissions any time soon. I am sorry that you feel this way about my application and hope that i can prove to you that i am not what you say i am if i get accepted.

I want to be able to help out the server as much as possible, i am continuously reporting bugs and details of the map that are broken and there have often been delayed responses, some are yet to be fixed. I am an active member who has a good knowledge of the servers rules and will be available to answer modreqs frequently. I feel i will be a fair and reasonable GM, giving players the benefit of the doubt the first time, but being firm with rules that are well known and often broken.

I do not have a ‘group’ on LOTC, and haven't for some time so i believe i can often bring a non bias opinion to certain situations, keeping it fair and reasonable. I am not afraid to call out anybody, even staff, if someone is breaking/bending the rules and being an inconvenience, or handling a situation wrong, i will give my opinion on the matter.

Aldor would stumble outside, take one glance at the 1 week eviction notice and laugh "a bit early lads" he would chuckle. 

Another point is that on many occasions i have told people from all groups that myself and andrewmcfly would be going on holiday at the same time, i will be away for the next 2 weeks and i asked kevin a few weeks ago to either make the war before, or after my holiday. Seems he chose the weekend to hinder our defence, also i may add that we do not intend to call on allies, we are a mercenary group and are neutral to all factions. we will not call apon oren (your enemy) or any other faction, although i stupidly did not add my 10-15 members to the members list of the plot as we had been focusing on other things in other areas. i feel we should be allowed to bring our group as a whole (15 max) to face the 70+ force that is the coalition.
