What is roleplaying?: Playing whatever medium of life you are in from the perspective of a person defined by that same medium. Where your actions and those of the person(s) become synonymous.
What is metagaming?: Using player knowledge to affect character actions, I.E; I know a Weeping Angle stops moving when it's started at so my character, who has never met with one before, stares at it.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Arkran Malvisar is a standard stock of Dark Elf, at least as far as the Malvizar family is concerned. An average 6'0'', dark purple eyes and mid-long white hair. He comes from a long stock historians who keep track of the Dark Elven people's history. His father and his father's father have both seen battle uncountable times but instead of drawing a sword or arrow, they would take out a quill and parchment to shorthand the battle before them. In his youth Arkran would hear grand stories of battles with the trolls and goblins who would occasionally creep down from the mountain but the one thing he could not understand was their lackluster will to not intervene. "By intervening we alter the events as they unfold. We are simply a by-standard. This practice is how we record and as we have always done back from my father, and his father before him, and even his father before him back to the start of our line!" his father would consistently berate him.
When it was Arkran's turn to record a small skirmish he ended up intervening to spare the life of a young peasant girl and by doing so he was disowned by his familial lineage. After wandering the wilds for several years following this a thought crept into Arkran's mind. Since he was no longer bound by the rules of his forefathers he could be free to seek out the history of his people on his own. Make the discoveries himself and no longer standby and watch them pass. After a long time of soul-searching Arkran finally set his determined mind on a mission, one that has yet to be done by his people. Seek out and prove the existence of the Aengul of the Moon and finally solidify the truth about the origin of the Dark Elves
Personality Traits: Though once socially adept the years in solitude has worn away some of his pleasant charm. Gruff at times and frank almost to a fault he talks to kings and peasants alike in the same calm-paced tone.
Ambitions: Prove the existence of the Aengul of the Moon.
Strengths/Talents: In-depth knowledge of the history of the Dark Elf race as well as an ability to fluently speak in common to transcribe.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Dealing with the subject of family matters despite still wearing the necklace of his family line.
Additionally on occasion his frankness has gotten him in trouble as some do not appreciate the brutal truth of things.

He is an average 6'0" with dark purple eyes and mid-long white hair. He still wears the mark of his family lineage on a necklace that never leaves his neck. He is of slim physique and weighs approx. 150 lbs. Typically he wears darker clothing as it helps him move unnoticed in the dark when he searches for clues for the Aengul.
