I was tired of the roleplaying in Spanish language server, there were very good players and nice staffs behind the proyects but there are simply not enough players (the maximum amount of players were like 25 at the same time and the normal thing was that there were only 5-8 online so I googled “Roleplaying servers in minecraft” and I found this one that looked like the best option Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is acting like a character that you have created and the actions you make must be the ones your character will make not the ones that you could make in the same position What is metagaming?: It’s using information in the game (IC) as your character that you have obtained OOC. What is powergaming?: Making actions in game that doesn’t allow other players to answer to that actions, an easy example could be a player who simply writes “takes the sword and stabs the guard in the heart killing it”, that action doesn’t allow the guard to react. In-Character Information Character’s name: Fernan de la Reguera Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human (farfolk) Character’s age: 28 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Fernan de la Reguera was born in a very distant land, a very poor land, where famine was a normal and the nobles were too lazy to do something for the people, but hard lands made hard men and in his home city, no man was as hard as the father of Fernan, Diego de la Reguera, a master of fencing in a land where everybody know how to properly use a sword, in other lands perhaps he could be the trainer of a nobleman but the destiny made of Diego a sellsword in the city, Diego lived with his son in a tavern because the mother of the kid died giving birth to Fernan. Most of the time his father was out so Fernan learn how to work in the tavern as a waiter when he was very young and as a chef when he was old enough to cook, when Fernan became a teenager he learned from his father the art of fencing and from a poet that used to visit the tavern he learned how to read and write and make poems, it was a common thing that the men of weapons were also men of letters. Life was hard but simply for Fernan but at the age of 19 his father was killed, for Fernan was not really a surprise, if you live by the sword by the sword you’ll die but without his father he realize that how hard was the life alone, he continue working as a chef in the tavern for a few years saving money until he could open one and have a better life, but making money in that job was hard so he decided to work as his father did before as a sellsword, he spent years making only a bit more than as a chef, but for him there was no other option. But one day a man came to the dock of the city, searching for brave men that wanted to go to a continent named Athera to fight as mercenaries for the kingdoms of that zone that were in continues wars over the continent against undead, and even between each other, as the man told to Fernan, the Reformed Kingdom of Oren would hire any mercenary immediately and with the money he could install with a busyness in Petrus, a great city for humans, or continue as a mercenary in other company as “The company of the Wolf” . For Fernan all this sounds like lies, but at that point of his life, Fernan known that was continue as a sellsword until some job killed him or try that last chance called Athera. The travel that carried Fernan to Athera was one of the worst experiences that he would remember ever, the ship that carried him and other people from his land sank an Fernan was luckily alive and in one piece, he walked by his own with the basic things he could carry, lost, poor and barely speaking the language of the races of Athera, Fernan decided that the wiser option was to try to go to the human kingdom and look for a way to survive and prosper in that new world. Personality Traits: >As a foreigner he uses to stay quiet and only speak when he is sure of what is going to say, he is very nice with the people and with a great sense of humor, but as all the people of his land Fernan is very proudly and an insult could change his mood and make him furious, has an open mind for scientifically advances but a very close one in the social changes, he consider himself as a intelligent man but he is not as smart as he thinks he is Ambitions: Fernan is a very ambitious man, he seeks power, money and above all respect and for him the end justifies the means Strengths/Talents: A very good swordsman very good with light armor, also a great chef, he is strong and good with people. Weaknesses/Inabilities: A bit lazy, women make him lost his mind and focus he doesn’t know how to use a bow and didn't have any interest, prideful and not very good with heavy armors, not very quickly, he is not a smart person but he think he is, it's a retrograde person with traditional convictions, he could be atractive but a great scar in his right eye made him a bit ugly.
