What is roleplaying?:
Role playing can be defined as taking on the role of a character, whether you created it or not, and take on its life. You play as the character, not as yourself and develop them throughout your time playing.
What is metagaming?:
Metagaming can be defined as using information that was obtained through a source that is not in character and then using it in character. An example would be that I was informed through an instant message that my husband cheated on me and then my character acts as if she knows.
What is powergaming?:
Powergaming can be defined one of two ways, the first way is often known as “god modding” where the person is near impossible to hit or injure and inturn they are extremely strong, to the point of being a god (hence the name). The other way is not allowing the other party to react to the situation, an example of that would be saying that I slapped someone’s cheek really hard, it should instead of been that I attempted to or slapped in the direction of their face which gives them a chance to react.

On the 14th of Snow’s Maiden, 1433 inside a warm home within the city of Luminaire a small family sat around a couple’s bed. By the side of the bed stands a male elf, his eyes gleaming with worry yet his mouth twisted in a smile and around the room were another two elves, to which their expressions and faces were a blur, for the event taking place was focussed upon the woman laying upon the bed. Her hand held by another dressed in white, face bloodshot and breathing heavy, for she was giving birth to a daughter, who they later named Liri.
For years she was taught the simple ways of a housewife that tended to the family, though the friends she made would jeer and she would join in too, though inwardly wanting to someday be a mother. Her days went by like clockwork, waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread, assisting mother in the daily chores and then leaving the house to spend time with her friends, though children that happened to run into each other in the woods is more correct it isn’t as easy to say.
As cliche as it sounds, Liri’s jerk to reality came when she lost those closest to her. Whilst away, exploring the land known as Anthos (at this time she has already wandered to many of the small villages of Oren, to her surprise most weren’t pleased by her company) the city evacuated from the forest and formed into a smaller settlement on the outskirt of the forrest. On her return, she would come to find that during an Orenien raiding partie’s venture into the small settlement of refugees, her parents were killed.
Years later, after countless travels from city to city, land to land, she arrived to Athera with most of the kin she grew up around. Being introverted, Liri lived alone for most of the time since coming to this realm and though she knew little elvish, she picked up a new family name which she felt was fitting, for her heart ached and she was unaware of how to fix it, and perhaps she will be able to someday.

A simple ambition of having a family, perhaps this may grow but for now this is it.

Can see the bright side of almost every situation.

Standing at five foot six, Liri has soft lilac eyes with long silver hair and weighs at 115 pounds. (That’s underweight in real life, not sure in this lore!)
