What is roleplaying?: To play a character and make your own story with it.
What is metagaming?: Going outside of the game, and gaining knowledge your character does not know, and going back into the game using that knowledge.
What is powergaming?: Using overpowered actions, for example, *I slice your head off and you do nothing about it*
In-Character Information
Character’s name: Dakota
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Elven (Dark Elf)
Character’s age: 26
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Dakota is a Dark Elf. He never knew his parents well, as they left him at a young age, and lived in Anthos. His mother came back around when Dakota was 5. (Dakota had a caretaker named Revus for the 4 1/2 years.) His mother was named Ahrima. When he was 6, as all other dark elves, he was taught swordplay and hand-to-hand combat. His mother had never told him about his father. The only reminder Dakota had was his dad's sword. It had Carbarum along the edge of the blade, and was steel for the rest. More of a longsword than a Rapier, it was fairly heavy for him as he was so young. He still used it however, and got used to it, giving him decent arm strength at such a young age. He excelled at archery compared to other Dark Elves, even ones much older than him. Dakota wasn't as much of a "Think about your actions before you do them" Kind of elf, compared to his other friends. He never fell in love, as others had. When he was 20, he was sent to the Dark Elven army. He patrolled for the first 3 years at Malinor, then he went to the front lines. He had a giant battle with the scourge. He grabbed his bow, started running and shooting, and grabbed his sword, slaying countless amounts of scourge. As the Scourge reached Malinor, he retreated to Luminaire. It soon became overrun with scoruge, so he had to retreat. He recived a major wound that took him out of the millitary, losing one eye, and has had a simple life ever since, however he plans to fight again, and get revenge on the Scourge.
Personality Traits: Quiet, Fast( Well, he's an elf.) good shot, solemn.
Ambitions: To return to the Army, and battle again.
Strengths/Talents: He's always been a sneaky elf.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: He has one eye, the other is scarred and completley white.
