  1. Fury knows his stuff. That's great. HOWEVER... he's also extremely helpful, very kind, and incredibly patient. He's a very level headed person and I have never once seen him get angry or raise his voice in anger or frustration. He's a perfect choice for a staff position in general, but the Lore Team would be an amazing fit for him.

Fury is exactly the kind of person the lore team needs. He supports new ideas, exploration of lore, and spreading knowledge to otherwise clueless people!

I was told the castle was move-able, I was then told it wasn't possible by Abyssus, I then promptly told Vege to tear it down as I did not want a lore breaking object.

You had a moving castle and did not have the proper magic to move it. You had a moving castle that was not, in fact, lore friendly at all. You openly admitted to tricking a GM into moving the castle for you because you didn't have the ability to do so in rp.

I honestly don't know if the people who were around in the teamspeak at the time this was being discussed will come forth, but frankly I don't have a reason to lie on your LM application. I simply want to make it apparent that you broke the rules, knowing full well what you were doing. That is not staff member material, and if you get added to the Lore Team, I will be extremely disappointed in the current team for allowing such.

I'm not going to continue to argue on your application as I have already said my piece, so this will be my last post.

I do not remember saying anything to you when you discussed lore, because we generally didn't. Most of the time you continuously **** talked me, most of the time resulting in myself leaving the team-speak because I did not want to deal with it. I apologize if in the latter months of my time in that team-speak I seemed rude, but if you ask the people I hang out with on a daily basis now they would most likely tell you that this is not the case. Or even some of the people who used to be in the teamspeak I sat in every day for hours, that I was unfortunately driven away from. Once again I apologize if I did not seem the nicest in the last months.

My personal quarrels with you are not why I gave you a -1.

The reason I gave you a -1 is because a few months back, you had the Flaccid Hat moving castle in Riga. I was so excited about that, seeing it really got me thinking about learning a magic so that I could also get into this moving castle business. I was ecstatic when I was told there were possibly ways to actually create one, using transfiguration, runes, etc. I, being absolutely in the dark for pretty much all magic, had lots of questions. There are a good few people in our group who know a fair bit about the magics I was asking about. Everyone, except you, was extremely helpful in guiding me and trying to help me figure out a way I could achieve something I was so pumped about.

You, on the other hand, were very often extremely rude and dismissive of my ideas and plans. I quite literally was making a plan, thinking of timelines, finding teachers, all that. However, at every turn, you found a reason to tell me I couldn't do this, this wasn't possible, so on and so forth.

You had a moving castle and did not have the proper magic to move it. You had a moving castle that was not, in fact, lore friendly at all. You openly admitted to tricking a GM into moving the castle for you because you didn't have the ability to do so in rp.

We don't need people on the Lore Team who openly break the rules of lore and magic, and manipulate GMs into doing things for them that you don't have the proper authorization to be able to do. You should be ashamed of yourself, quite frankly, for even acting like you have a right to dismiss my claims when you are guilty of these kinds of actions.

  4. -1

KBR has been extremely immature, argumentative, and generally unkind to me anytime I tried to discuss lore, or even ask questions. I won't deny that he has a broad amount of experience, but I won't say he has a great deal of knowledge. If anything, he's become very pretentious about his apparent encompassing knowledge of the lore. KBR is exactly the kind of person we don't need on the LT.

We need people who can encourage new ideas, offer insight, and help people understand the lore, rather than belittle them and hold themselves higher than others for knowing more about the lore than them. KBR is not capable of this from my experience.

  5. MC Name: ShannonLeigh

    IC Name: Katherine

Original Race (n/a if not applicable): Human

    Transformed Form: Doppleganger (Water Based)

Creator (MCname and RP name, n/a if not applicable):  Jistuma, Prohan

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Dopplegangers are currently the highest level achieved of homunculi. They are exact copies of the person they are created from physically. They do not retain any memories of their prior life, though they retain any skill based knowledge and physical skill. They become incredibly stronger, faster, and smarter than their previous self, depending to a degree on the symbol they were created with. In the instance of a water based Doppleganger, she will be swift, calm, and thoughtful in her actions and behavior. She takes into account the way any situation would better her or benefit her. Homunculi as a whole have no moral code, and act only in ways that will benefit themselves. They will do a favor or help someone, only if it benefits them either directly, or in the long run. They seek only to extend their own lives and are to an extent, very self centered. They will live considerably longer than what their original race was. They cannot practice any magic.

They can be injured by aurum weapons, Holy magics, and the symbol they are the most weak to. In this instance, it would be earth. When injured, they to not bleed, instead excreting a substance similar to what they were made with. Should they die, their body may reform elsewhere, and should they have a limb severed, it will regrow in time.

Homunculi do not have to PK, but will be forced to PK if they die repeatedly, or become inactive on the character.

  6. Alright, I've thought about this for a bit and seen other's response to this news.

Initially last night when I saw this, I was up in arms about it. I get riled easily, anyone can tell you that. The more I think on it, though, and the more I see my fellow player's response, I realize they are being pieces of ****. Frankly, you're more than welcome to join LotC and bring your entire group.

The major cause for concern here is that people are worried your group will isolate and become some kind of PvP faction or that you won't follow our already established lore. You've addressed those concerns, much to the deaf ears of the idiots here. I want you to know you really are welcome to the server, as we could always use fresh faces, especially ones who have a pre-founded knowledge of roleplaying. I suggest immersing yourself into the rp of the rest of the server, even with your own guild. You need to have an understanding of the different nations, their relationships, and the lore as a whole before you wander off into the woods and develop rp that might be outside of our basis.

And to everyone commenting mean **** in this thread, get that negativity out of here. We don't need another PR fiasco, and we do need new players. Chill.

  8. I like the idea of having a forum thread with a complete list that can be referenced when making a modreq. This makes it easier on players and mods alike, creating less confusion about the IDs as they can be quickly accessed by both parties.

A single Gm shop in each city, just like with lock picks, allows ease of access. Simply have the papers like before and a set price across the board for all heads.  Frankly it's a hassle to travel to CT at this point, so placing these shops within capital cities seems to be the best option. (to me at least)

    In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

    Character’s name: Kajri Shukla

    Character’s gender: Female

    Character’s race: Human

    Character’s age: 28

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Kajri Shukla is a woman born to a wealthy merchant and doting mother, who grew up among the Qalasheen in the scorching deserts of the south. Uninterested in the politics of Vailor, Kajri took to a life of pleasant simplicity. She explored the savannahs, roamed the city, and played in the warm wade pools of the desert oases.  She had friends and love interests as any young girl would, and attended schooling in her youth and was tutored in her teens. Her father kept a substantial income for the family and her mother kept a pristine home. She would be expected to marry, of course, when she came of age. She would become like her mother, a doting housewife to a budding merchant, destined to bear his children and so on and so forth.

However, this would not be the case. The Caliphate fell, quite literally, before Kajri's eyes when she  was a mere 17 years of age. Her whole life that had lain ahead of her crumbled into dust and debris at the Qalasheen's own hand. And then, they sailed. The sea bore Kajri no ill will, but Kajri hated that voyage. Years too long they spent at sea, searching and praying for a new land of their own. Her family had given up their merchanting ways to remain with their people. Farfolk, those who often times donned darker skins and richer cultures from all corners of their world sailed as one to a new land. The Sultanate of Haria, they dubbed it upon landing; it was a day Kajri would never forget. It took time for the people of that land to settle, but settle they did. Kajri grew older, her parents no longer so doting, but instead intent on rebuilding their lives. Now, at 28, eleven long years after the  fall of Al-Wakhrah, Kajri finds herself with an interest in the outside world.

Personality Traits: Kajri has a gentle demeanor and a kind tone. She tends to be suspicious of those who aren't Farfolk, though, and can sometimes appear cold to foreigners.

Ambitions: She has a desire to explore the world outside of the Sultanate, meeting new peoples and learning more about the world as a whole.

Strengths/Talents: Kajri has a strong desire for knowledge, having received a very good education as the daughter of a well off merchant. She intends to continue her pursuit of knowledge and has a strong interest in astrology.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Physically, Kajri is weak. Though she can have a silver tongue, she has little to back any threatening words with. She does not know how to handle a sword or bow, and would only put up a meager fight with a dagger or other smaller weapon.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Kajri is 5'5'' and has bronze skin and dark brunette, wavy hair. Her eyes are a rich brown color. She often wears traditional dresses, similar to an Indian saree.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):
