What is roleplaying?: when you make a character, his/her personality, and then play the role of that character
What is metagaming?: When something in the "real world" influences what is happening in the game. also it is like using out of game information to affect what is happening inside the game.
What is powergaming?: Power gaming is forcing someone into a situation without giving them time to do anything about their situation. For example I go up to John and kill him, this does not give him the chance to do anything and takes the fun out of role playing

Biography (PLEASE make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
My name is Nyles, I was born in Ayrmet. My father was a mercenary and would come home every night drunk, if he came home at all. He usually came home penniless, as he had spent all his money on gambling. He beat me almost everyday. I mostly spent my time wandering around and thinking about a life where I was a something. By the time I was 10 the family was almost broke. We practically lived in a shak. Until I was 11 I thought I was just going to be like my dad. Become a mercenary, get drunk, gamble a lot, and then eventually die in a battle, then everything changed. One night my father had some of his mercenary friends over and they were all drunk. My mother was serving the food and one of the mercenaries wanted more beer, mother didn't get him the beer and he got angry and stabbed her to death. I immediately pulled out my knife and was on the man stabbing him. This resulted in my getting kicked from the town at age 11 with nowhere to go.
3 years later I'm on the streets of Petrus fending for myself. I had gotten really good with a blade and was a petty cutpurse. But I was good at it. The whole time my hate for may father grew stronger and stronger. I blamed him for all the bad things that had happened in my life. I wanted to get revenge on him. One day I was standing on the street and a man was chasing a women. This brought back memories of my own mother. I stabbed the man in the back and left him dead on the street. That was the day I discovered my love for killing. That same day I was in an alley a hooded man walked toward him I recognized him as the man who's purse I had stolen. He took me in saying he had seen my skill with a blade and how I had killed the man and walked away stealthily and unnoticed. He said that I had potential and started to train me in the art of assassination. 4 years later I had mastered the use of the sword and bow (or so I thought) and I could beat my teacher in a spar. I was ready to set out for my father...

Strengths/Talents: cunning, agile, stealthy, experienced in mining and smithing because he lived in a mercenary camp for 11 years, could probably talk his way into making someone buy something.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: does not like to back down, takes risks that most of the time put him in danger. does not know much in terms of farming, leather working, ect.
