What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where you live/act out a character. (ex: "Hello Stranger"! In ooc I would have said it like "hi Joe") What is metagaming?: A method used in a game where they use knowledge that isn't in the roleplay and they use it at their advantage. What is powergaming?: When someone is too powerful in a roleplay for example (ex: John kills Matthew) In that situation Matthew couldn't do anything about it. Character’s name: Jeras Mjorneson Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Highlander Character’s age: 34 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): I was born in Atgaard, a small settlement located atop mountains in the eastern part of Athera. My father Farid forced my mother Ecota into marrying him, so it was very rough when I was a child. When I was at the age of 10 my father started to abuse my mother. I killed my father a couple months later. I slit his neck with a broken glass bottle and ran away. On the same day when I was running away I tripped and stumbled down a tall mountain. I fell for about 6 minutes I believe but a old cottage broke my fall. A Orc named Nameq owned the little cottage and took me in for his own. He taught me how to fight, read, and a lot more other things. When I turned 18 I told him what happened between me and my parents. He wasn't happy about it but he knew if I didn't do that I would have got my mother killed. When I was 30 Nameq died when one of Olivier de Savoie's men sliced his stomach open when we were training. The man thought Nameq was trying to hurt me. When I killed him all the pain my father afflicted onto me hit me. I'll never forget that day. Now I'm one of many whos wanted in The Kingdom of Oren. I now wonder around The Kingdom Of Oren looking for my mother. Personality Traits: Jeras is very skilled at fighting since a Orc taught him. Hes very shy since he has not made any social interactions for four years. He's not very intelligent because he never went to school and he could only read at a decent level. Ambitions: Jeras wants to find his mother. Strengths/Talents: Strong, Agile, Fast, Good at wielding a sword, Stealthy, Withstand cold. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Killing people, Water (he never learned how to swim) Sight of blood. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 6'0 190lbs, (he wears a scarf around his mouth because when he fell down the mountain he split his mouth wide open. Jeras was very small when he was born so the nurse wrapped him in a very large scarf when he was born. His mother was very happy about Jeras. On the same day Jeras was born Olivier de Savoie got word of his birth. But he felt very unsure of Jeras. One of the reasons why is because of his father Farid. Farid used to work for Olivier de Savoie; he was one of his many assassins. One night Blood Mages brainwashed Farid into thinking that Olivier de Savoie was not a good person. Farid attempted killing Olivier many times but it never worked. Olivier thought that the Blood Mages got a hold of Jeras and Brainwashed him as well. So Olivier sent out his assassins to kill Farid and Ecota (Jeras's mother) and kidnap Jeras. The assassins killed Jeras's parents but they couldn't get hold of Jeras because the Blood Mages already took him. The Blood Mages didn't take Jeras to save him but to cast a spell on him which made anyone who looked into his mouth deaf and blind for eternity. Jeras grew up alone teaching himself how to write, hunt, climb and alot of other things. When he was 14 he found out that the Blood Mages casted the spell on him from the Monks. He used the scarf from birth and wrapped it around his mouth and nose. 20 years later Jeras returned to Petrus and decided to find and kill the Blood Mages that cursed him and the assassins that killed his parents. Personality Traits: shy, smart, agile, buff. Ambitions: To kill the Blood Mages that cursed him and the assassins that killed his parents. Strengths/Talents: fast, agile, blacksmith, crafting, wielding a sword. Weaknesses/Inabilities: High altitudes, Orc skin, Bow and arrows, cooking, balance. Character’s name: Locien Katardil Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Wood Elf Character’s age: 112 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. When he was 15 Orcs kidnapped and tortured him to death. The monks revived him and he forgot about his family, the orcs, everything. Later on in his life, when he was 50, he figured out that Orcs kidnapped him so he had no relations with them at all. 62 years later he wanders the realms looking for his family and the Orcs that tortured him. Personality Traits: Brave, smart, strong, adventurous, kind, trusty Ambitions: To find his family and whoever killed them and himself.
