Darkness enveloped Khalestine, no different from the rest of Vailor. Many stayed tucked away in their houses as ash fell from the sky. But not all. Shouting echoes from Al-Wakhrah's bazaar. Many watch from their houses as the market is set a blaze by people who wear all black. Their faces are hidden by masks, revealing only their eyes. Two people - A Qalashi man and a female elf of unknown descent - are bound and gagged, left at the road side while the sinister looking individuals yell obscenities and burn down the bazaar. Soon, all goes quiet. And eventually the townsfolk venture out to observe the destruction. Just outside the city, there is a glowing light that breaks through the eternal darkness that has suffocated Vailor. You, in particular, may be one of those people that take notice of this. As you approach the light, the sound of a crackling fire becomes clear. You approach a crowd that has gathered here just before you arrived and maneuver your way through. This is what you observe: To the left 'T', the charred remains of a Qalashi man continue burning. He is near unrecognizable save for the singed clothes that have fused to his flesh. To the right, a sulfurous odor comes from what appear to be a female mali. Her head is kept low as the flames spread to her once long, flowing blonde hair - now colored by ember flames and blackening as they twist with the consuming flames. A sign had been put into the ground in front of the executed. "To your left is a race traitor to his people. This Qali has abandoned the Creator and has chosen a life of Godlessness. For too long his greed has starved those who claim descent from Farfolk for his own benefit. Today, their lives are avenged and this race traitor's wealth will be redistributed to the poor. To your right is a temptress, a dagger eared ***** belonging to the race traitor. Do not let her fair looks deceive you, people of Khalestine - she is a murderer. Good people of all walks of life have met their end at her hands. Let her death save those who would have fallen victim next. May Allah forgive them for their degeneracy - and may He forgive us for we could not forgive them."
