Sensory Illusion

Summarize the Lore of this magic(s):

Illusion is in essence, the usage of the void to make someone perceive something with any of the five senses or any combination thereof. An adept Illusionist can also manipulate emotions. Illusions are separated into three categories, divided by difficulty. The first is a glamour, the second a figment and the third a phantasm. A glamour is a spell in which the sensory properties of an object are altered, for instance, a mage might make white tiles appear black, or make a liquid taste sweet. A figment is making something appear that did not previously, for instance  making a snake appear to be on the ground, or a wall where there was none. Finally, the phantasm is the manipulation of emotions in the target of the spell, although this is extremely intensive and isn't possible to any besides the very adept at illusion. Phantasms also range in difficulty depending on the target, for instance making a high elf feel disgust towards something that isn't a high elf would be much easier than making them feel gay love for an orc or something.  

Illusions are cast by utilizing the fact that every mind is connected to the void in some way. The Illusionist uses the void and their mana to implant false sensations in the mind of their target using said connections. Increasing the complexity of these Illusions would also place greater strain on the caster. This type of power comes with some caveats though, the first is that Illusions cannot work on something that is aware they are being put under an Illusion, this also extends to the caster, as one cannot cast an Illusion upon themselves. Finally, an illusionist must have experienced what they are casting an Illusion of, so one would not be able to cast  an illusion of dying, as they would have no knowledge of what death is like. Illusions are also incapable of directly affecting anything in the actual world, you could make someone perceive a flame, but it would not be able to actually burn anything.

Student: S

I: "Today I believe a demonstration is in order to help improve your understandings of the theory. Have you continued reviewing the notes you took?" she'd say pulling out a small box

S: "Of course."

I: "Excellent, what is the most difficult type of Illusion, and what does it entail?" she'd say giving them a small pop quiz.

S: "The phantasm, an illusion comprised of forcing one to feel a specific emotion, or a present one more intensely." the student would cite from memory

I: "Correct! excellent work." she'd say opening the box, dumping a spider from it onto the table at which they were sitting  "Beasts are the easiest the cast illusions are, as they have the weakest minds. Thus they        are excellent practice."

S: The student would continue writing down notes on what Illidar was saying and her actions.

I: Would take a deep breath, a gray glow coming from her eyes briefly as she extended a palm above the spider.

I: Illidar's breathing would deepen, as she'd focus her attention to the spider, a few small wisps of gray mist trailing from her.  The spider would stop moving about on the table, taping it's legs against a jar         not visible to any others present.

I: would take a deep breath, the spider suddenly moving freely again, before she'd scoop it up and place it into the box "Any questions?"

I think there needs to be more events and things to do which cater specifically to new  players

I was on the AT last year and I feel I did a half decent job, I'm not saying I'm the hero the AT needs, but I'm the hero the AT needs.

Lookie here hooligans, first off if you don't actually know luv personally, (e.g. "I don't know this person but they seem X") you really aren't qualified enough to speak on her whether or not she would be a good gm pick. For my part, I felt she did an excellent job as my manager on the AT, and think that opinions from people with very clear pre-established bias shouldn't bring up old news.
