Character’s name: Clifton Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 18 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Clifton was born in the year of 1495 under his farther Samson and his mother Elena in the farming village of Werdenberg. His parents were the owners of a small farm land and they lived in poverty, but were thankful for the lives given to them by the Creator. When Clifton was born, he came into this world with the birth defect known as clubfoot. Being to poor to afford a doctor Clifton never received surgery and his clubfoot eventually became to deformed to fixed. His parents didn't understand how their child could be born with such a defect, but who were they to question the Creator and his decisions. They took this as a trial sent to them from the Creator to prove their faithfulness to him, and thus they tried to raise the child to the best of their abilities. Because of his clubfoot, Clifton was unfit for labor on the farm, so his parents used what ever money they could salvage to hire a tutor to teach their son the art of literature and poetry as they were illiterate and thus couldn't teach him themselves. As Clifton grew up he grew upset at himself for his uselessness. Though he loved his books, whether it be about the tails of Faldo Featherfoot or the great poets of the pats, every time he looked out his window he would see the other farm-boys out in the field helping their parents while stayed indoors and read. When ever he brought this up with his parents they always comforted him say that they were happy knowing that their son was growing up to be a well educated lad, and though he loved their praise, he still silently mocked himself for his inability to help. When he reached adulthood he came to realize that if he couldn't help his parent though labor, he would help them though his literature and poetry. He got passage for the Isles of Vailor with the last of the money he would accept from his parents and promised them that the next time money was exchanged, it would be him giving them money instead. After saying their farewells Clifton sailed off to Vailor in search for inspiration for his books and poems. Personality Traits: Curious, Kind, Trustful Ambitions: To become a great story writer/poet and to make money for his family. Strengths/Talents: Well educated, Story writing, Telling poems Weaknesses/Inabilities: He has clubfoot and has never held a blade in his life. He is a slow walker and can't run, He silently berates himself constantly for being unable to help others with laborious task. He is a terrible fighter. Character’s name: Sa'Jarvok Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Kharajyr (Kha'Leparda subrace) Character’s age: 18 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Sa'Jarvok is the son of Si'Gafar and Sa'Suul and was born in 1495. His parents owned an inn in the settlement of Ohlokar that mostly housed sea traders. This inn has been with his family for generations and he was expected to take ownership of the inn after he past the Trials of Maturity and became of age. Jarvok was proud of his heritage and wanted to prove himself worthy of it. So, while studying under his parents on how to run an inn from the managing, the cooking, and the cleaning, he also pried information from the sea traders on haggling and trading. He even learned a few tricks from their 'shadier customers' on other ways to obtain money and information. When he passed his trials and came of age he was ready to take over ownership of the inn from his parents. But before receiving ownership from his parents he decided to visit the temple to pray to Metztli that his inn will be prosperous and give thanks for his heritage. While prying at the temple Jarvok heard screams outside and when he ran out to see the commotion he saw a giant worm devouring the land! Fearing for his family's safety, he ran towards the inn to make sure they were safe, saying prayers over and over again in his head to Metztli that they would be safe. When he finally reached the inn all that was left was burnt and hollowed shell that barely resembled it's past self. His parents were nowhere to be seen. Staring straight at the destruction of everything he worked to achieve and the unknown state of his parents, Jarvok collapsed on the ground and (though he would never admit it) cried until he lost conciseness. He later woke up on a trader's ship. The captain (who was a regular at the inn) said that she found him in front of the inn and had him carried here for safety. She told him that Ohlokar and maybe all of Athera was devoured and that they were heading to the Isles of Vailor. Jarvok asked if she seen his parents and the captain grimly shook her head. Heartbroken, Jarvok sent a prayer to Metztli asking for a sign to show him what to do. And in that silence he found his answer. He was Sa'Jarvok! Son of Si'Gafar and Sa'Suul and next in line to own the family inn! He was going to recover from this. He sent thanks to Metztli and made vows to find his parents and build the inn that was rightful his in this new land. And nothing was goning to get in his way.
