What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I like the no griefing rule the most, generally my RP experience is soured by unsavory rabble-rousers.
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Not really, for the most part the rules seem very clear.
How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?
I got a couple of friends who play here, so I checked out the forums and wiki for a bit and then decided to apply.

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!
What is roleplaying?: Basically, assuming a character and acting them out, their actions, motivations, etc.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the use of out-of-character information in-character, ie. things they couldn’t possibly know generally using a third party program like Skype or Steam.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming is forcing your character’s actions onto other roleplayers, or performing actions you character couldn’t feasibly do, ie. instantly killing someone with one swing or phasing through a wall.
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
Character’s name: Lombardo Appleton.
Character’s gender: Male.
Character’s race: Human Highlander.
Character’s age: 28.
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Lombardo Appleton was firstborn to Alfonso and Toenetta Appleton, in the rolling farms of Eastcliff. In his youth, he spent many years tending to the family acreage along with his many younger brothers. He was the eldest son, and his younger brothers frequently looked up at him for guidance. Despite this, at 17, he pilfered a dirk from the local blacksmith, took a horse from the family stable and set off on his own. He wandered aimlessly for days until he found himself in the nearby city of Arrowshead, and without coin ended up resorting to petty thievery and muggings to feed himself. He scraped by daily by the skin of his teeth, nothing more than a common thief, the apple had fallen far from the Appleton tree. A year later, he caught the good favor of a roving band of sellswords and ended up joining their ranks as one himself. He quickly picked up the basics of sword-fighting and orienteering and made a living with his brothers in arms, offering their services to anyone with the coin to spare.
Over the years, Lombardo grew from a misguided young boy into a cynical, but intrepid man, though he'd picked up a nasty alcohol habit (among others) along the way. There was a steady stream of work for him and the band of misfits he traveled with, often consorting with rather unsavory types. Today he bears the many scars of past battles, as well as the heavy burden of fallen comrades. The band dwindled in numbers with time, and one day the few left decided to go their seperate ways. Lombardo, hardened by a decade of fighting and drinking, decided to journey home only to find his mother had passed and the farm was no more. His father had sold the land and with the paltry sum he received secured himself and his sons a respectably sized estate in Eastcliff. The prodigal son had returned, and he reunited with his brothers and father once more. After long talk with his father Alfonso, he'd convinced Lombardo to stay with his family, the thought of a less violent life and a chance to redeem himself for the past 10 years appealed to him. He moved into their estate with his brothers to help with his father’s vision of lifting the Appleton name to true greatness.
Personality Traits: Arrogant. Gluttonous. Temperamental. Boastful.
Ambitions: Furthering the Appleton bloodline; strengthening the Appleton dynasty. Opening a great tavern.
Strengths/Talents: Seasoned fighter, survivalist, amateur cook.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Arbitrary. Quick to anger. Abrasive, poor manners. Alcoholic. Addicted to cactus green.
