Larueh’lin Hunting Guild

The Laureh’lin hunting guild is looking for new hunters that wish to join this guild or wish to learn how to hunt.

The Aim

The Aim in the guild is to supply people with food, cloth and other things that come from animals. We also want to complete various jobs and supply the city with our trade and economy, using our very special skill.

Your Role

Your role in the guild would be to hunt, and go through the ranks if you wish. You will need to hunt or learn how to hunt and accept jobs. You will have to follow the rules and laws of the guild as well as the rules and laws of the Aspect faith.

Rules

Do not hunt youthful animals

Do not hunt pregnant animals

Do not hunt excessively

Do not waste any part of the animal

Grant the animal a swift death

Do not steal another hunter’s kill

Take all parts back to the guild base

Do not hunt an animal for no apparent reason, if stocks are high cease taking another animals life

Failure to abide by these rules will result in punishment, either a demotion or being kicked out of the guild

Ranks

Each rank with be given special weapons and armour as they progress

Deer - A member that has proven their worth by doing 10 jobs

Elk - One who has been in the guild for a while, has done thirty jobs, five elk kills and has lasted the harsh training. Trains the Fawn

El’Fox - Has hunted sixty animals, completed many tasks and has proven their worth to the guild. Has become aware of all of the confusing parts of the guild, like a fox’s burrow

Honorary Ranks

Bear - Given to one who leads a herd because of his or her great work and history in the guild.

Owl- A person who teaches about the ways of the aspects and has had a long history with me or the guild

Mammoth - A great hunter and right hand men of the leader, they and oversee the herds

Killing animals to rank up for no reason is frowned apon. The rank up goal is jobs, so if you’re offered a job only take if necessary

Herds

Herds are the groups you are a part of, your herd is decided by what your hunting style is like, you will be placed in one when a mammoth thinks it is the right time. The herd leader is to hand out tasks and gear to his members and is overseen by a Mammoth.

Character’s age: 131, something like that

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Damai is, I quote "Damai the fearless, Damai the powerful" as he jumped off a wall to chase after a big foot with just a sword. He grew up on a farm and now live in Laureh'lin. He is apart of the order of Sirame and is tailor. Damai had a great life living on a farm with his Mother, Petr'ya Torena, his father, Chirr'or Torena and his younger sister Mina Torena, she was called Mina because she was born unexpectedly and 'Golden'. When Damai was young he was taken by a bandit group, since he father was a quite wealthy smith. They ransomed him to his father for a great war axe and a fair amount of minas. He refused to pay so they came and stole the axe and Damai ran when they weren't looking and escaped. Damai has been looking for the axe his whole life and won't stop until he finds it. He is a dedicant and was on a task in the wild and got attacked by a bear and it broke his left arm and left a nasty scar on his face. He was at the Druidic grove and a group of orcs were inside. He asked a man to open the gate and he refused, Damai's teacher opened it for him and the brute of a man went to punch him, Damai launched himself onto the man and took him down, as the orcs were coming which were his friends. They attacked and Damai was sliced by an Uruks sword, he sent a bird to the leader of the Sirame. He compromised with the Rex and they left. He has a scar on the opposite side to the bear scar from the uruk. All of this happened in rp before which is why I wanted the persona and the Items on Fassa transferred.

Personality Traits: Quote: "Fearless and Powerful" Optimistic at times about himself which can be taken as arrogance. He can't stand losing. Tries his hardest but doesn't always succeed which angers him

Ambitions: He is an El'Naeri of the Sirame, a Tailor and he wants to become a Dedicant

Strengths/Talents: Tailoring, bows like most wood elves. Smithing like his forefathers. He has a certain connection to battle axes which are his go-to weapon when in battle, unless told to use his sword. He is a great hunter and owns a hunting guild

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Knifes, cooking,  he wont back down. He has a pertaining weakness in his tibia which, like the Achilles heel to an extent,

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He has brown hair which is bleached at the ends slightly by the sun, it is usually tied up at the back and the side left out of the ponytail curl at the ends. He is 6'2 and quite bulky at a weight of 90 kg, being the opposite of your usual tailor. He wears his Sirame uniform most of the time and has scars on his face, mentioned in the biography. He has a Blue tattoo running down his arm being the colour green and snake like it shape. Blue tattoos on his face under his eyes. Pink tattoo coming from his neck to bottom of his chin, visible when shirt off

There are actually quite a few more on, despite some of your thoughts. I had an rp with three of them in an hour. I believe that It is going well and possibly thinking about making one!

Damai would read the paper a bit confused ""Who does he mean by we could win a war against blah blah blah?"

Damai would smirk at this, especially the name "What a name, do you all have one less toe?" He would state sarcastically

"I own a hunting guild in Laureh'lin, we could have a bit of competition aye? I shall meet up with the leader -Damai Torena" This would be written below the poster ((Or whatever it is))

I view the ET as good but I have a few Ideas that could improve the experience of Events

1. More animal ET's just randomly or on request i.e Bear attack, wolf pack etc

2. More buildings and dungeons hidden around Vailor, with loot and cool little puzzles or whatever in them

3. I have seem some fun, trolly sort of events in times of 20-50 people when I am mostly on. I would love to see more of these to give some fun in these hours

Damai Torena grunts at the letter "I guess this man cant take it on the chin . . ."

Damai listens to the story closely and carefully, himself being a hunter ponders his own acts. "I should now become a better hunter after listening to this story"

I think that turning on mob spawns everywhere in the wild, and forest area would be a good idea for people who wish to hunt, like one of my personas. Also it would be cool to see shops popping up along the 'Global road'

If my Welf char had a wife.

Or they could just lower the materials used for an anvil, because if it takes 5 cubic metres, then that would mean the anvil could be no less than a one block block. Which would mean an oversized anvil that wouldn't be legit, then it would turn into a meme and....

For me, I find this good and bad. I have significant lag, and cant afford a better computer or internet access. But at the same I know that lots of horse sellers will not be benefited. I suggest if you own a lot of horses. Make different stables in different cites, it will also help with trade.

The Laureh'lin Hunting Guild is looking for new members, who can hunt with the guidance of Cernnunos. We are located South from the large building near the docks. We are a group of people who hunt for enjoyment and the resources from the our kills, everything that is hunted will be used one way or another. We abide by the laws and ways of the Aspects.

Members will be expected to follow these few rules while hunting with the guild.

1. Do not kill any young animal

2. Try kill it quickly and cleanly, if it is wounded and badly hurt put it out of misery

3. Respect that some lands are to be left alone

4. Do not leave any remains behind

5. Use everything from the animal

6. Be prepared

7. Ask permission to hunt in another cities land, as some cities need you to pay

There will be weekly meetings and fortnightly travel hunts. You will be expected to visit at least one of the meetings in an Elven Month ((If you cant make it for an ooc reason thats fine)). To join hand an application into the box.

Meeting times

The Meetings will be held in the Ellorarir Avern, the Wandering Hunt, once an elven week.

The meetings will include upcoming group hunts, jobs of extermination and news of sightings of large animals.

When we get larger will we start tackling larger beasts for rewards. But we will be nothing like the Marked Men.
