  1. Jonificus You are accepted, u may begin posting in the rp thread
  2. BOTH ACCEPTED, My extreme apologies for the wait, my doctor told me stress was causing my illness but i am all better now! So you both may begin posting.
  3. MOD POST THE WOLVEN With the slaughtered remains of the Orcs and Humans the Wolven's now have a decent amount of food for the whole pack. The Humans are easily followed as they make no attempt to hide where they flee too, They make it to a large village, it would indeed appear guarded as men appear armed with stone spears, hide shields and fur armor. Without proper observation there is no way to know how many people live within the settlement, or how many soldiers guard it. THE FELICIANS Construction and development within the cities of the Felician people goes well. Until a few days after the scouts where sent out to check on the Harpy presence to see if they were hostile or friendly. Within the main hall of the Capital a man bursts through the door with a few guards trailing him, he'd be bleeding horribly, his clothing torn and ripped. "T...they ate them...we..we attempted to approach and were only met with death!!" he falls to his knees coughing up blood as he looks upon those around him "They will devour all...i..if we don't stop them..." his eyes roll into the back of his head as his now lifeless body falls to the floor a pool of blood surrounding his body THE KOBOLDS The Kobold scouts would scour throughout the mountains and surrounding area, unfortunately to no avail as they search endlessly. It would seem they have not the resources and experience to travel far enough away from their own cities, not yet. YASHIRIN The Yashirin scouts would be unable to locate anymore orc camps or war parties. However, further down the river. Scouts would have discovered that they are sharing river with another tribe of creatures. Whether or not they wish to attempt contact is another matter entirely. THE NORTH POINT GOBLINS After spending some in the newly discovered structures, it would appear the race was known as the Stoneforged. Their history and whereabouts could be discovered with further study ((5 Pages)) Unfortunately the tools are of an older age, Not any different or more efficient then Goblin Craft. The idea of a new ranged weapon is put under way, the idea will take time, practice, experimentation, and maybe a few cracked skulls. ((10 Pages)) THE WU TRIBE The explorers leave with the blessing of their elders and people, it would be some time before they return (1 Page) The men are sent north to attempt to discover more new types of minerals, sadly this would be unfruitful. However a large deposit of tin has been discovered. Once the Wu Tribe has epxanded their territory northward this mine could provide large quantities of tin to the Tribe. ((DISCOVERY!!!)) TRAGONOL TRIBE The need for more mobile creatures was long a dream of the tribe. It's Yaks had always been a great help, truly the foundation of the tribes nomadic roots as mounts and beasts of burden. Capturing some of these wild beastly equines would take time and effort. Taming them would be another matter entirely. ((4 Pages to capture Equines, 6 Pages to tame)) The research for a better more effective thrown weapon is a development any hunting and war states tribe would need, many hunters and warriors begin experimenting and testing. ((7 Pages for Javelins)) The move to the Northwest would hold few fruits as they make headway to new lands, 14 more Yaks have joined the migrating tribe alongside their tamed brothers and sisters. They would not encounter any peoples or hostile creatures of note to their trip northward.
  4. MOD POST THE WOLVEN The tactic would have proven very useful, the numbers between the humans and orcs are twindled by the time the Wolven arive, only to be slaughtered. No Wolven were lost in the skirmish as the caravan is easily taken, it contains food and supplies for a village it would appear, sadly most the food is harvested plants and such with some meat. No orcs survived the encounter, but a few stray humans managed to slip away from the scene and escaped fleeing east. THE GOBLINS OF NORTH POINT The Scouts return to the Goblin Chief with eager news, it would seem they have discovered structures built into the mountains where they had planned to expand. Upon further inspection they appeared abandoned, the tunnels inside only went a short distance before they realized it was collapsed, where ever it lead was buried behind the rubble. There is no telling how badly damaged the tunnel was. But there are strange markings throughout the structure they could inspect, some old tools were found. Nothing of Goblin make, stone hammers and picks made almost as well as goblin crafting. Who could it be? The eager merchants of the goblin kingdom begin making headway in creating a method of recording contracts and payment. the development of this language would take some time to work out properly ((7 Pages)) Ambush tactics, as realized by the Goblin Soldiers can be very efficient, the element of surprise should never be taken lightly and tools for such a trade would only make it better! Experiments and ideas are tossed around between goblin engineers as they attempt to come up with a proper working design or two ((6 Pages, will give details upon completion)) THE YASHIRIN As the Yashirin warrios near the Orcish Work Camp, they spot several patrols but due to their nature of living in the swamp they move closer and closer without being spotted before commencing their assault on the Orc workers and patrols. The first few moments of the skirmish allow them to catch a large portion of the Orcs off-guard. Sadly once the rest were well aware of the situation it became an all out bloody melee skirmish. After a mere hour, the battle would be over. The Orcs mostly wiped out, some escaped with injury while the rest parished. Though the Yashirin had casualties as well, of the 200 warrios sent into the brawl, only 140 escaped unscathed. The rest either parished in battle or died of their wounds. Back in the villages, as they attempt to make headway in finding a new way to protect their bodies in combat they try out older methods combing fur with hide to little success as it provides nothing better, but perhaps they would discover a better way ((10 pages) Sadly with all other efforts working towards other developments the hunters find it beyond difficult if not impossible to tame any of the wild beasts they share the jungle rivers with. No fruit would be bore from this attempt. ((Failed Taming Development)) THE FELICIANS The settlements teem with life and development as the Felicians work dilegently to bring security and order to their tribes with much success, the new roads under construction would increase travel and trade. Sadly however amongst this peace, there seems to be a looming shadow over the Felicians to the East. From time to time villagers swear that they have spotted flying beasts, at first it was but rumors and stories. But as the days went by soldiers had spotted the beasts, they quickly report to the Royal Family with ill news "Harpies..my lords, They are nested some leagues to the east. What will you do?" THE WU TRIBE The people of the Wu Tribe seem to be in a flourishing state, The workers tend the fields and the artisans tend to their ordered work. A small group of men ask for an audience with their leader, They are eager and curious adventurers hoping to leave the tribe to explore the wonders and lands surrounding the village in hopes of returning with news of other peoples or perhaps something to return with that could be of great use to the Tribe. THE ILLYMANII It would take many wise and older minds to think of a way to better irrigate the farms, but many of the village elders believe it can be done given enough time ((7 Pages)) It is not always good to improve upon the old ways, However in this particular instance it would not only make way for a better organized society, but for communication as well. Several men from the capital and a few bright minds from outlying settlements are brought together to form a more organized and symbolistic form of writting ((7 Pages for dat Languages)) The months of spring go by, the horrid rumors of what lies to the west in the mountains seemed to be an ever fading tale. Until the day they came... 8 Men in dark clad leather, bearing axes and spears approach the capital under the security of several Illymanii soldiers, they had requested a presence with their messenger to meet their leader who offers these words "Your time to come will be dark and bloody, the days of men will soon pass. We offer you this, either submit to our Goddess and Queen or bring upon yourselves the utter and final destruction of your people." THE AIEL Weeks upon weeks of attempt and risk, the taming of the wolf was dangerous and terrible. The Wolves had begun to accept the scraps of the humans, but remained ever warry to their offerings. They'd growl and howl at times. It appeared to be working but it would be a long and hard process ((12 Pages)) The thought and idea of being able to preserve food for storage was a grand and wonderful dream. But why must it remain that? They were nomads, they didn't have time to waste growing and picking fields. No they needed a way to better what they had known and used. The work was diligent, time seem to be wasted, and food was ruined in the process, but the idea stayed and pushed them to find the way ((6 Pages)) It would seem that the region had already bore its fruit, scouting endlessly they would find no men, beast or merchant band to raid from. The group of ten men had prepared after weeks of searching the area to give up and return home with no news. Until they would discover a large settlement build around an entrance into the Mountains. It was heavily guarded, Wooden Palisades surrounded the settlement, Dark men patrolled the walls but they would not spot the Aiel scouts. They return to their Chief with news of this..fortress.
  5. Angel you are accepted, Conor sadly no one starts with domesticated riding animals, this is way back stone age stuff. Although this is not to say you couldn't tame such creatures with time. If you can adjust your description slightly then u are good to go
  6. Accepted, However dirtyhary..there isn't any location designated on the map that is a Desert, however we have a large Savannah/Hill region you could go too? If thats acceptable. And as for as your people being naturally abit stronger, I'm fine with that as you only have 300 people. Should you ever settle this 'perk' would eventually fade away. But Yes I'm willing to accept that.
  7. MOD POST THE WOLVEN They make good pace towards the southeastern forests, they find plenty of game to hunt as they reach many miles more into the jungle, Deer, Boar. But also plenty of hostile creatures, although they seem to avoid the large group of Wolf-men. Suddenly a scout group returns to the main pack "Sir, We've discovered an Orc Party! Roughly 40 of them, they seem to be hunting down a Caravan of Humans. What are our orders?" THE FREE PEOPLE OF NOROS Some of the villages best men are put to work onto the development of a new creation capable of treading the shallow waters to fish farther out into the oceans instead of spearing at the shoreline ((8 Pages)) The development of the Main Tribe goes well with the efforts of its population. Though the fruits of these attempts will not be known until later in the year. Ghostly reports make their way to the Leaders of Noros, some smaller villages on the coastline swear they are seeing people in the water! A large snake-like creature with the body of a man, though these sitting are rare and only happen during the dusk of night, what the leaders will do with this information is up to them. THE WU TRIBE The work to develop a written language at first appeared to be difficult, but with effort a full written language could be achieved within the coming year (7 Pages) Without the knowledge of other known metals, the task of finding a stronger material would be tedious, but a few believe it can be done as they experiment and attempt to find a material to meet their Leaders desires ((2 Pages for discovery, 10 Pages for proper development)) Artisans work day and night throughout the spring to come up with the effort of building a standing stone building that isn't carved inside a mountain or tunnel. But sadly the building crumble and crumble again, wooden buildings at the moment are all they are capable of making. The Stone buildings just don't seem to stand as sturdy as a wooden one. Perhaps as the years pass they will find a way but that is a dream for later. ((Failed Development)) Rumors spread of a tribe to the south east. but these are unconfirmed. Some eager to explore seek the Elders permission to explore south to see if the rumors are true. THE NORTHMEN TRIBE Men return to their Chieftain with dire news, a Troll War Camp has been spotted several leagues west of the village. It would have seemed that the Trolls have already begun raiding as people from another tribe nearby have been nearly wiped-out from Troll Attacks. THE YASHIRIN The devlopment of a weapon to be used at a better range is put in charge of a few of the Elders and older hunters ((7 Pages)) Scouts come back with no news of other people to aid them against the coming storm, the nearby Wolvens have fled south deeper inland. However, scouts return from the north with ill news. The Orcs have already begun to make their way south, A large camp of roughly 180 Orcs has been spotted several leagues north, clearing the forests of trees and resources. They make much progress everyday that passes. THE KOBOLDS The work of connecting their underground villages would be a long and tedious endeavor, however with such an ambitious plan it just might work, They have the work force, and the well crafted stone tools to accomplish it, the only thing they have they cannot control is time. ((12 Pages)) With the long work in making the tunnels, many materials flow back home for use and experimentation. But even the best minds amongst the tribe will have a lot of work ahead of them. (2 Pages for discovery, 10 Pages for Development.) The Scouts return with great news, the inner sections of the Mountains are perfect for expansion, almost too perfect. Sadly they lack the population to expand, but it would be easily done once they had grown in numbers ((300 people will be needed to expand by 1 Hex, so once you reach from 900 to 1,200 you will be able to expand by 1 Hex connecting to your currently owned Hexes.))

  11. The Age of Beginning Many Tribes now arise throughout the lands, fighting the enviroment, beasts, each other...It is, The Age of Beginning! Wyverns scour the mountains hunting and preying upon Villages and wondering peoples within and around the mountains, Troll Camps become more and more common away from the caves as they begin to expand, this could pose trouble for outlying villages as trolls are known to openly attack other races for food or sport. To the North Clans of Orcs are uniting as an Orc Chieftan declares himself Lord of the North. Rumors spread to the Lizardmen of the swamps and the Nomadic Wolven people of these events. Orcs (Below) Trolls (Below) In the Far Eastern Mountains an evil people stirr within the caves, calling themselves the Dark Elvaeri they openly engage and attack all who are not their own, The Illymanii Tribe of the East will have a difficult time with such barbarians at their doorstep... Dark Elvaeri (Below) To the Northeast the Kaha'Rakta face their own troubles, A disease spreads across their villages making it difficult to grow food, forcing them to leave the safety of their villages to explore for more viable food sources, or perhaps a cure to this horrid plague. More tribes are sure to arise, Hostile and Benevolent. May you lead your people to a more flourishing future!

  18. The world of Zol'Darios was an old and harsh unlivable planet, until the Great Shift took place life had begun to take spark, and soon after just like a fire it had begun to spread, Oceans teeming with life, plant life ruled to continents. Millions of years have past since the Great Shift. The world had repeated the process throughout the Millenia. But now..something was different. Life had long existed before, but now it had taken a different turn. It had begun with fire, stone and a growing intelligence. Sentients have taken its first steps, Humanity had begun, but they were not the only ones. The Fires of life had spread. It was not just Humans to take these first steps, oh no. Other creatures had begun to take their own steps into sentience. Though this process has eradicated many species and dwindled others. Fierce creatures and beats roam the lands, Dragons, Trolls, (No Magic)Wyverns and many other creatures scour the land hunting and feasting upon those who cannot defend themselves. Will your people thrive and make their way into the future to become something greater? Or will they fall and be forgotten to the sands of time? -OOC Section- Timeline: 2 Pages = 1 season, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. RULES 1. No Powergaming 2. No Metagaming 3. All Tribes will be GIVEN their stats at the start and periodicly from there on by the Admin/Mod Post How the Map works The map will be a Hex grid. Settled tribes will start with 3 hex's that must be connected. to expand your territory by another hex you must have 300 people beyond what you start with. To make this easier to understand. 1 Hex = 300 people. Tribes may scout and explore 3 hexes outward from their perspective territory, this does not always mean you will discover something just because it is within range, but the chances are better the closer it is. Nomadic Tribes may only occupy a single hex at a time Creating your own Race/Tribe Settled & Nomadic Tribes Settled Tribes Population: 900 3 Villages Basic Stone Tools/Weapons Basic Farm Development: Wheat, Potatoes. Basic Domestication: Goats, Pigs, Cattle Nomadic Tribes Population: 300 0 Villages Basic Stone Tools/Weapons Settled Tribes may have up to 1/3rd their population as Military, however if they choose to have the full 1/3 their normal population will suffer in terms of specialist for manufacturing, farming, ect. ect. Nomadic Tribes have entire population to be considered as soldiers, however larger nomadic groups are much more difficult to feed and maintain.
