I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place for something like this, but I'm new here and I look forward to getting involved in this community. I've yet to apply for whitelisting yet, because I have some confusions. I was hoping maybe someone could help me out before I got ahead and attempt an application. Here's two immediate questions I have. I may have more later: I've noticed the history behind this server's lore is extensive, and that's great! But as someone who's new here, I'm having a hard time understanding what I should read up on based on the character I plan to create. I've narrowed it down to wanting a Heartland human, but I don't know what the current year is, where most Heartland humans are from, and where to find their comprehensive history. A map would be of great help too! I like to be decently informed before I attempt to write. Where might be the best place for a Heartland human to end up based on current and possible future roleplaying hotspots? Background is very important, but a background's lead up to the present is just as if not more.
