  1. Urist Burialgears would ponder to himself the notion of testing his weaponry and armour upon the risen corpses. Sure enough, he could easily do it just about anywhere in the wilderness that might hold them, but here he might manage to gain some minor prestige for his gear. He nods to himself. A bloody trek upon the surface.
  2. Out-Of-Character Information Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: tobad34 How old are you?: 18 Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The one regarding characters dying with a form of sass in the manner of “Kill me, I’ll just wake up at the monks.” Though I do mildly worry that a character dying while hurling an insult prior to fading into unconsciousness and the sort might be misinterpreted as part of the rule. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): No. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Generally being a roleplayer within the Minecraft community for a lengthened period of time, eventually at some point or another oneself hears murmers about Lord of the Craft. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is effectively the task of acting the role of a character that an individual is not in real life, or displaced into a setting they would otherwise not exist. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the use of information acquired through OOC means and implemented for IC gain. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is the act of forcing an action upon another player, such as "Bob stabs Steve through the heart with his sword." whereas "Bob thrusts forth with his sword, intent on striking Steve's heart." would be the non-Powergaming format. Powergaming is often confused with Godmoding, which is the act of a character performing unreasonable feats consistently, as an example: Having their limbs lopped off with an axe, but continuing to fight a battle, then re-assembling post-battle. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Urist Burialgears Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Cave/Cavern Dwarf Character’s age: 157 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Urist was born alongside other dwarves within the Asulon Era , to a random mother who'd he not known throughout his life. His father on the other hand, had been a worthy enough smith who had decided this mistaken progeny of his would be his heir provided he apply enough effort. Through years of hammering away, the youngling had eventually become sufficient at the craft alongside inheriting a creative tongue that however foul, was admittedly impressive. With the doubled number of smiths in his household they'd soon run into issues related to waiting on miners to bring back more ore. While his father opted to scribble away on stone and do other oddities that did not see the eye of another dwarf barring his offspring, Urist found himself plunging deep into the caverns and tunnels that the miners had dug up; with a desire to seek out what life might grow down here. Only mushrooms appeared to do so. Mushrooms and Dwarves. Soon enough this became his norm of a past-time. Prodding them, eating them, planting them, all inbetween ore deficits. As time went on, Urist felt content with his living despite it being particularly boring work. He'd made no effort throughout the bulk of his life to go on any wild adventures to the surface world, the most he'd seen of it being during travel between fortresses that inevitably fell due to the simple passage of time. The Dwarf didn't particularly care much for wars either, not bothering to immerse himself in petty politics on any scale. Eventually, Urist had come of a ripe age for some good old-fashioned wanderlust beyond simply shifting from fortress to fortress as the years passed by, and with a distinct lack of knowledge on his folk's history or care for what writers and the sort'd say about him. He strode off, out of the darkness of his home at the time; Kal'Akash, and into the surface with a lone purpose: To find a fresh mountain and strike the earth. Personality Traits: Urist is a generally a rude and to-the-point Dwarf. He'd rather curse an outsider away from his home and get back to his smithwork with haste than sit about having morning ale with a bunch of old, fancy figures he'd forgotten to learn about but still managed to remain alive. As the example goes; he has a thorough work ethic and can't respect the slothful particularly well, only stopping in his toils during the time to drink, sleep, and come up with new names to call those who lack beards. Ambitions: Urist's only true goals are to see his mushrooms grow in surplus, keep outsiders away from him, and see to it that he forges many items from the ores that others would bring him. Strengths/Talents: The physical strength that comes with forging metal into viable forms for tools and weaponry, alongside the mental patience that follows the boring process of growing mushrooms in the dark while the Miners are away and he'd be out of ore to use in his craftsmanship. Weaknesses/Inabilities: A tongue that cackles forth insults and names in a oftentimes creative fashion, with a tendancy to land him into trouble should it be flapping when it ought not to be. Beyond that, there's a general distrust and distaste for other races that is the foundation for many of the words he spews out, being particularly cruel towards those who lack beards. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Urist is a reasonable 4'11" two-hundred lbs Cave Dwarf, dressed in a light layer of iron and steel that slightly guard his muscular body underneath, in additon to a light layer of cloth that is far too aged to be of any rational value. His skin, being that tough, gray manner fitting to a Cave Dwarf blends in somewhat with the metal replacement for clothing. Amongst the eyeslits of the helm that otherwise covers his full face barring his satisfactory beard, lie his amber coloured eyes, another common trait for a Dwarf of his sort. Resting upon his back is a lonesome pack held there by a number of straps. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here): Alas, I've had difficulties getting More Player Models to install;
