Definitions
What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where a player takes on a role of a character in a fantasy world, or a made-up realm. The player will act out the life events of this character, until the character meets their end, or their story has some sort of conclusion.
What is metagaming?: Using information, beyond what a character would know, or using information that you, the player, knows that your character would not, in order to shape the story or game to your own benefit/desire.
What is powergaming?: Bypassing all factors, such as storytelling, in order to become the best one can be at a specific role. This is often referred to as min-maxing, for those who play D&D.

Biography:
Baltherion was born the black haired child of Alerius and Katrine Malonious, a pair of Heartlanders. His father, Alerius, was constantly gone away due to the struggles that the humans part-took in with war, and due to this, Baltherion was raised solely, or mostly, by his Mother, Katrine. After a few months without receiving letters from her husband, Katrine fears the worst and decides that she no longer wishes for Baltherion to take part in the military training that the culture would have provided him with. She instead constantly gave him books, wanting him to further his education, causing him to become more articulate, as well as learning to read and write at a very young age, his skills having grown with him, as he did. When Baltherion was seen, all that would be visible would be his long black hair over the spine of a book that was in his lap, curled up beside a candle to view its contents. This was how he spent most of his childhood, as well as studying cooking, cleaning, loyalty, and other serving type of habits.
Upon reaching his eighteenth year, his Mother would have finished aiding him in his training, having cut his hair, and having helped him to properly groom his beard. His biggest hopes, dreams, and aspirations would be to leave the town of Thales, wishing to travel more, as well as to become a servant for royalty, preferably a house of High-Elves. From his readings and the cultures, he had always found them interesting. His mother never wound up disclosing to him what had happened to his father. He chose, also, not to stress himself out with such things, due to the fact that he always found comforts in his books.
Personality Traits: Calm, collected, refined. A gentleman, who cares for others, and tends to the needs of those around him.
Ambitions: Serve a strong, or wealthy house, as a servant/butler, and provide comfort and aid whenever possible.
Strengths/Talents: Loyal, obedient, understanding. Good with children, as well as the arts.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Analytical; sometimes he can read too much into a situation. This causes him to form doubt in himself with his abilities. He also has small bouts of depression, though only when he's alone.
Appearance: Black hair, blue eyes, somewhat tanned, though a very light tan, skin. He stands at almost six foot, and roughly one-hundred sixty pounds. He has a small burn scar on his right elbow and shoulder from learning how to cook at a young age. He also has a well-kept beard.
