    He had suffered too many afternoons in the Isles of Men, Elf, Orc, and Dwarf and retreated himself to solitude; these ones were not fond of his word for they had not his ear, and so the Minister desired to be only with himself. 

     

    In his time of isolation he pondered over and stared into the many abysses which lied within. These ravines ran deep -- far deeper than the Minister was prepared for. His time amongst the rabble had let his judgement and vision fog, though Hadrian could very well sense this. For what other reason does a Man retreat to himself, indulge in his own solitude? To rediscover the spirit is the greatest feat, the feat of a Man who wishes not contentment but to rise high out of one’s deepest depths. 

     

    Hadrian had touched the heavens before, glimpsed the GOD, though only to be struck down amongst small men once more. This was not his purpose, not the purpose for which his spirit strived. He lusted to be near heaven and sky! Not surrounded by rabble and false virtues.

     

    Robed and unkempt, the Minister Hadrian arose from his prostration. His joints and bones creaked, for all but his mind had gone to rest. And once the Minister emerged he was surrounded by his GOD and His Chance, if but only for a moment. His spirit was renewed, and he sought those who too knew their own spirit: the Aemesh! And he sought once more those who did not wish for his word nor would listen to it.

     

    “My brothers and sisters, I return to you!” He proclaimed upon emerging from his cave. He was weary but it bothered him not. His weariness was hunger, a hunger for greater truth amongst the world's dim flames. And when he returned to his kin he knew their spirits would feel the same.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: The strigae, more commonly known as vampyres, are creatures originating out of the continent Aeldin. Strigae were originally created by the Unseen, a group of demons summoned by an elven warlock. The strigae are blessed with heightened speed and strength, though cursed with an immense thirst for blood. They can assume two forms: their original mortal form, or their natural, beastly appearance. While in their beastial form, they gain enhanced physical abilities, as well as razor sharp fangs and talons. Their nose flattens and their ears become pointed, similar to that of a bat. Their skin also becomes taught to the bone, black veins showing underneath. If a striga does not feed for too long, they grow weaker and are cold to the touch.

     

    Once turned, strigae gain minor changes to their physical appearance. Their skin is noticeably paler, and their facial features appear more gaunt and hollow than before. Their eyes also gain a murky yellow-green colouration.

     

    Though the blessing of immortality does not come without curse for the strigae, as they suffer the same weaknesses of all the unholy. Aurum would serve to be quite a bit more painful, in addition to the magicks of Xan, Aerial, and Tahariae doing more damage. Those turned also lose all magic and the ability to learn such, and are completely infertile.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: 

    Like most dark creatures, Darkstalkers are created through a cruel ritual in which the being’s very flesh is ripped away, and they become skeletal beings like a lich. Except unlike liches, they are meant primarily for melee combat, and are extremely tough and durable. They also cannot learn any magics, except for the power to touchdrain in order to sustain a sufficient amount of lifeforce. These beings cannot feel pain inflicted upon them unless done so by aurum or holy magic (ascended, clerics, paladins, etc.). Similarly to their lich counterparts, all darkstalkers have a phylactery in the possession of their masters. If the phylactery was to be destroyed, the darkstalker would die and their soul would return to the soul stream. They also must drain every once in a while to retain strength and prevent insanity from taking over.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

               Morghuuls are essentially lesser undead. Created through a ritual of bringing the dead back to life by a necromancer, they are horribly disfigured and rotten, at times completely decayed. Since they aren't completely mindless, Morghuuls often have a recollection of their past lives. Though this does not mean these events have any effect on what they do. For example, if commanded to fight in a war against a kingdom they were previously loyal to, they would still do such, as the past does not affect their current emotions in their undead state. These recollections of their life is more of a means to remember than feel. Furthermore, they are affected by anything another undead might be, i.e. aurum. holy magic, Azdrazi, etc. Morghuuls also feed off the lifeforce of other beings, hence their need to kill and feed off live bodies. This causes them to stick to a necromancer master, as they can supply them with a great amount of lifeforce. Another weakness would be their inferior strength, causing them to only wear cloth or chainmail instead of any plate armor.
