  1. this is really good and I really want avatars to return, however I feel like the repeated mentions of how greedy and violent and malicious they are is a bit limiting on the potential creativity players might want with their personality; just because spirits are driven by worship doesn't mean they have to be jerks

also the time limits make sense but man are they harsh

overall I want this to happen and my comment may just come down to personal taste, it doesn't make it not work or anything

    good lore

  2. Within a hermit's blarg, a sleeping Shaman's dreams twist with the growing dissent of a concerned host of spirits. Visions plague her sleep with increasing severity. She sees dark clouds stretching from the west, she feels her body wither and scatter into ash. She is entangled in the earth's fate, and she is crumbling away. In the smoke rising around her, the spirits whisper hateful curses, and a long hand stretches down toward her people.

    "Tor-urki Krug-dâgrim'u, UK-darûkrim."

One-thousand curses upon the children of Krug, traitors all.

    "Ufum-Ilzgûl. Ufum-nûrzum'izubu..."

Fear the spirits. Fear our wrath.

The hand of smoke entwines its fingers around the citadel of krug-kind, and with fury wrung the life from their lungs.

Fiil'Yar awakens from yet another vision, still yet to discover its meaning. Though she was well-known as lazy and slow to act, the spirits of the wild demanded her attention. Rubbing her eyes, groggy, Fiil mumbles; "Perhaps it's time I return to my people."

  3. second one is my least favorite, the others seem fine to me

the key for me is it looks like someone actually tried, it's not their fault their build isn't popular; it's not like it was malicious, poor guy :(

it wasn't that many maps ago that we used vanilla trees and you could run into baby's first minecraft house sitting in the middle of nowhere, these are way better than that

  4. Fiil'Yar creates a small, temporary shrine before which she tells tales of Ugrad's dedication to his lifemate and his desire to improve his people, deliberately leaving out tales that brought her woe in an effort to bring his spirit a peaceful existence in the Stargûsh.

  5. hi I've been orc for a while, made a few orc characters and been exclusively playing in krugmar for the past two years or so

    1. internally, the nation has a propensity to attract really toxic, hostile people who go out of their way to make others upset

    2. internally, the culture and the people who aren't like that are beyond compare and are the reason I still play lotc

    3. I really, really think what we need is a leader that lasts more than a few months, and one that's willing to stick to improving the community - at this point I don't even care if I agree with their changes or not, I just want a leader that doesn't leave or get deposed
