William was more of a father to him then his own after his untimely death, and he had time to grieve. He takes off his faded cossack uniform, throwing it to the ground in a fury.
"I guess I've taken my time to do those errands... I think I shall give Lord Barbanov a visit and ask if hes looking for an old veteran...." he whispers before walking off.

Wrong, many countries are capable of it and cloning IS being done. Just not in the way you think, It is possible to insert two times the number of chromosomes to produce a fetus that is an exact replica of it's host. So if I took two of your sperm cells and incubated them in a blank ovary to produce a zygote that zygote would be a near perfect duplicate of your chromosomes, the resulting baby/fetus would have to be incubated inside a woman and once born would look a lot like you with a few minor mutations.

 

This is already being done in the USA for couples that are unable to produce babies, one example of this is seen in women that miscarry sometimes or even in gay couples. It serves the purpose of weeding out genetic diseases that are becoming more and more common.
