In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Mival Dotsk Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human Highlander Character’s age: Twenty-Five (Biography and age assumes the year is 1523 on creation). Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Mival Dotsk was born in a standard outer-city family on the planes of Athera, as the Eldest son of two in a family of four. His mother worked as a baker, and his father the local 'Medicine-Man' for the small village. He tended to the injuries of others, while Mival's mother would focus on feeding those injured when she was not selling her product to the village. The name of his father was Aerim Dotsk, and his mother Reeve Aalis-Dotsk. His brother was simply named 'Serf Dotsk'. Mival was born on the brink of War between the Reformed Kingdom of Oren and the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or, in the year 1498, and the family craft of medicine and food-baking had been disrupted by the turmoil in the economy, the war making the first two years troublesome for growth, what with the village preparing their defences the best they can in the event an attack transpires as a 'Tactical Move' on either side's part. Shifting to 1511, we find our now-Thirteen year old Mival Dotsk with his father Aerim, paying visits to the sick and being the assistant Medicine-Man for his father Aerim, in return for basic spending cash for the nearby sweets shop as a reward. The war between the Grand Kingdom of Urugan and the Iron Uzg fresh on his mind and the destruction worrying Aerim, for fear of Mival's mental growth due to the turmoil. Mival does make notice of the stress of the guards and village elders, but he is still a child, and as such, does not properly understand the consequences of war. So his growth is about as normal as one can expect for such a time. We now find ourselves in 1513, the fated year of the home shift. With the Orc-Dwarf war at an end, Mival is now fifteen years of age, and is being rushed with his mother and brother to one of the evacuation ships. His father was drafted as one of the assistant forces to try and delay the worm.. we can all guessed what happened to that, as the remains of the family move out to Vailor, the distraught Mival upset over his missing father. With most of the village destroyed, the remains of his family are left to the formed refugee camps in one of the cities proper. The stress of caring for two children by herself had caught up to Reeve as she snaps, forcing her two children out on their own in as little as five years time, in the heat of the rebellion. Mival had been separated from his brother, as the brother went off to farm, and Mival went to begin work in one of the taverns, wiping down tables and such for basic change to keep himself alive. This life felt stagnant to him after two years, and so set off the now twenty-two year old Mival Dotsk into the world.. as he made a bee-line to collect basic supplies and head off into the wilds as soon as the city lockdown had ended. We now catch up to him three or so years later, at the age of Twenty-Five, missing most of his original equipment and effectively beginning fresh again, during the year of the signed Alliance of Sand and Stone. Personality Traits: Calculating. Patient. Discreet. Precise. Emotionally-lacking. He is a man who prefers a clear and level head over the exhaustion of having to deal with Emotions. Closed-off to anyone not 'ally-worthy'. Ambitions: He strives to work the best he can in natural medicines and potions, holding desire to tend to the wounds of many.. or put down those beyond his help. Better let the monks deal with the grievously-injured, than waste his supplies on them. Strengths/Talents: Natural Affinity towards medicine, branched from his father.. Possesses a 'No-Nonsense' attitude. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Absolutely disdains politics, and in turn, anyone that would relish in politics for their own personal gain. Emotionally jaded. Disregard to those 'Un-Savable', coming off as unkind or rude. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): This man stands at five feet-nine inches and weighs about one-hundred and fifty pounds. His garbs are open-air with several pockets and storage spaces, with a bone mask concealing his face, save for his cold, blue eyes. A basic cutting dagger, clearly more for harvesting plants than doing actual damage to people, hangs from his belt with a basic walking stick from tough wood in his grip.
