What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you create a character and interact with people and the enviroment as that character rather than yourself. What is metagaming?: When your character has access to information that he/she shouldnt. I.E. Your character know that a rival kingdom has a spy named jerry in your town without investigating. What is powergaming?: Forcing actions on others. I.E. When in combat, you doge practically every shot and force them into a corner where you violently stab them. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Alatris Volare Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Dark Elf Character’s age: 207 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Forgive me if any information on here is wrong. Did my Best to read it all and put together a decent Bio. The Dark Elf known as Alatris was born in 1320 to a family of dark elves that were, for lack of a better word, enslaved to a family of high elves in one of their 'silver cities'. When he was old enough, Alatris was sent to the local blacksmith to begin his training. He spent a majority of what free time he had left training with the swords he forged, although he never could get beyond an average level of sword skills despite his efforts. His skills as a blacksmith however were quite good, forging high quality weapons for his masters. Eventually, the wood elves rebelled. That is when Alatris seized his chance and fled, seeking out his dark brothers. After being shunned by them, he spent the rest of his life moving from city to city selling his services as a blacksmith, farmhand, or whatever was needed to make a living. During the Calamities that took several of the homelands, he often stowed away in ships to travel with the other races as they left for new worlds and oppertunities. Personality Traits: Slightly isolated, blunt, sarcastic, a 'chaotic neutral' type of personality. Ambitions: Become a master blacksmith, hopefully for a empire/city. Learn to be a better swordsman. Maybe dabble in enchanting. and make some friends.... Strengths/Talents: Blacksmith, adaptation, survival Weaknesses/Inabilities: Swords, tends to lash out at high elves, most social interactions. Has the skin color of ashes, and eyes the shade of amethysts. His hair, light brown in color, comes down to his shoulders.
