How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was browsing RP servers, and this appears to be the most popular one Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Role-playing is the act of taking the role of someone else. I could be a stalwart, handsome young knight, when actuality I'm a poor student IRL :D! What is metagaming?: Meta-gaming is using OOC stuff to aide you in RP. Like someone messages you on skype to help you kill some guy, and you do that. What is powergaming?: Power-gaming is doing things that are unrealistic for your character in RP. Like picking up a boulder and tossing it one-hundred feet into the air! That's a pretty excessive display, but you get the picture! In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Haafgir Pinesworn Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Highlander Character’s age: 27 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Haafgir was born in the snowy mountains of Athera. Having grown up since, and taking the descent into Valior, Haafgir was finally permitted to leave home by his aging father, and carve a name for himself. Having a very nordic background, Haafgir sought out a liege lord that was based in a colder climate, his body being already adjusted to said climate, he believed that'd be best for him. His search came to an abrupt halt when he saw a civil war was breaking out, and Haafgir decided to lay low until peace was returned to Oren. With the civil war concluded, Haafgir decided to embark on his grand adventure into what would become a tale song by all bards, he hoped! He remembered his father's departing words as he left the small homestead in the Region of Polaris to venture to Valior. "The only hide that you should worry of, is your own Haafgir. I lived that way until I met your mother, and had you and your brother Darwick. Once you've something important to protect, no longer do you worry of your own hide, but the hides of those you cant live without. Go forth my son, to the new world. Leave this forsaken one behind." Haafgir and Darwick departed and arrived in Valior. It was time to forge his own destiny, no longer with the constrictions of parenthood. Haafgir Pinesworn would make his name known, that was his only determination. Personality Traits: Righteous devotion to the Creator, and to the Northern-born Highlanders. Stubborn. A natural leader with the ability to follow. Seeks his path in the world, and will do anything to acquire his destiny. Ambitions: Ambitious to find his path in Valior, and to make his name known across the land, using whatever method he can. Ambitious to become a leader of other men, to rally them to his own banner. Strengths/Talents: A very muscular build, built around the rough living conditions in the North. Has a very persuading charm about him. A strong sense of knowledge about Blacksmithing is about this man. Weaknesses/Inabilities: A bit slow, and can mis-read or mis-interpret things easily. Cannot do anything with clothing, as he has never learned how to sew. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): A rough and tough blonde beard, with beads running through it. Charming blue eyes, built around his homeland. Has a dirty tunic with some plating about it to protect him from dangers.
