Character’s name: Kenneth McPeterson Character’s sex: Male Character’s race:Human-Heartlander Character’s age: 27 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Kenneth was born to a poor family in 1497. His father, Godfrey, a bar keep for the town of Salvus. Mary, Kenneth’s mother died giving birth to him not even 24 hours after. The death of his mother lead to his father being a vacant figure. Mary’s death also played a role in Godfrey’s alcoholism. When Godfrey was drunk he often talked about his time in The Battle of Dreadfort. Godfrey spoke highly of his efforts to take out the Kaedrin empire. Godfrey shaped Kenneth’s view on politics and war, he learned to hate racism and its effects. Growing up Kenneth saw his father’s drinking and hatred for others, he was very uncomfortable with it. His father would resort to taking his frustrations out on Kenneth. It would start with screaming because Kenneth needed help or didn’t clean the house. Throughout the course of the day it would go to Godfrey slapping or punching Kenneth for burning dinner or forgetting to milk the cows. The abuse led to Kenneth being resentful towards his father and everything he stood for. It wasn’t until Kenneth’s fourteenth birthday that he decided to react to his father. Godfrey had come home one late night from bar keeping. He walked into their small house and yelled for Kenneth to come to the door. Kenneth dragged his feet, but followed his father's orders. When he got to the door, Godfrey swung his meaty fists in Kenneth’s direction. Kenneth quickly got out of the way, and the intoxicated abuser fell to the hardstone floor. Godfrey split his head on the floor, Kenneth stormed out of the house and went to into the town screaming his father had fallen. A few townspeople came to the rescue of Godfrey, but the damage was done. Godfrey had not one mina to his name and couldn’t afford the care. He would fall ill to infection and brain swelling, he spent his final days in the care of Kenneth. While his father was not a good man, and an awful father figure Kenneth still loved him. Where Godfrey laid, certain for death was where him and Kenneth bonded the most. Godfrey would tell tales of Iblees and why Humans were bound to die sooner than the rest of the races. He spoke of the want for eternal life by Horen, and that damned them to live the shortest. There was also talk of how the Orc Krug wanted nothing for Iblees, and that would damn them to be fighters. When asked about the others wants Godfrey ignored him and moved to how he believed Iblees would return if the races couldn’t unify. Godfrey’s time was approaching rapidly at this time, and he spoke to Kenneth about what he wanted.
