Character’s name: Leofstan Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 28 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Leofstan grew up in the lush and revered Capital city of Petrus, in the grand plains of Athera. Leofstan's father, Selred, was in the grand Petrus's guard, and unfortunately suffered various fatal wounds in a minor skirmish with the Uruks on the battle ridden outskirts of the city, costing him his life and his children a father. Leofstan had to live with his beloved brother, Wolnoth. They barely got by in the cruel and demanding city, doing hours upon hours of menial labour to put a meager amount of good in their deprived stomachs. By the time Leofstan was of a proper and grown age, himself, alongside his brother left their past life in search of even more arduous work, work that would provide them with a substantial wage that could give them a stressless and carefree life. However, when none was found, they had decided to settle down in a small town called Leuvaarden, from where they would spend countless years once again repeating the tiring process of doing menial hours of labour for a horrific wage, just to earn a meager living that wouldn't be able to provide for one, let alone two. Soon after moving there, they were once again packed up and ready to leave, for they could not sustain themselves for too long, thus taking the tiring highways, clinging onto the hope of finding a better life, leaving their new life behind once again. They had now spent most of their misfortunate and work-ridden lives moving from one place to another, never fully settling due to the prospect of finding a decent life. Over the years, they had earned the bare minimum amount of funds to buy their own rusty armour and crude swords from a local *****-ridden street, with a shifty blacksmith in the town of Montfort. They had started to train with a newfound determination with their new armour and weapons, in the hopes to become stalwart and great warriors only heard of in fables of old. They once again set out on the roads, wandering around and strolling across the lands in search for a town or village which was in need of such warriors, where they could perhaps preside. After long and tiring months of wandering, they had decided that they would enlist and join into the services of a lord ior a downridden town. They know not who they should turn to, thus turning to the only thing they knew well, the same beaten path that would lead their lives ownwards, the only path they knew, and the only path they could take. After countless months of journeying, Wolnoth had soon died during one of the harsher and more brutal winters. Leofstan was now alone once again, still on the search for the life he had always wanted, still clinging onto the friends everyone calls 'hope'. Personality Traits: After month of searching, Leofstan had become hardened, getting by on what he could. He had seen more harsh winters in the wild than most. Leofstan had also learned not to act hastily, or on impulse. While He and Wolnoth were wandering the wild for a place to settle, they had come across wild Uruk bands. They knew to attack them would ultimately mean death Ambitions: Leofstans one and only goal is to find a lord which he can service for the rest of his short life, and a land where he can settle, and live without the need to continually move. Strengths/Talents: Leofstan is relatively smart for an uneducated man. He has also trained hard, and acquired large muscles, as well as becoming a relatively good fighter, better than many. He has spent many years on the road traveling, and knows how to survive in the wilderness of the lands. Weaknesses/Inabilities: While he is strong, he still lays burden with the deaths of his brother, and father. He has also spent many a year on the road in search for his home, leaving him without the true feeling for what home is. Aside from mental weaknesses, Leofstan still has some minor disabilities. He is burdened with scars, gained from fights, and living in the wilderness, rendering some of his body parts, less effective compared to many stronger men. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Leofstan stands at a decent 6'1", large compared to many Men. He has dark brown eyes, that at times, appear almost black. His hair is a dark brown as well, though nowhere near as dark as his eyes, and his hair flows long, reaching his mid neck. He is extremely muscular, he gained his muscles from long days of training and walking the long roads. He is caucasian, with a fairly tanned skin tone. His skin is ashen covered, giving it a deeper tint, adding to his ominous features. His face stands strong, with a hard, defined jaw line. His nose reaches a standard length, not too long, nor too stubby. His face is marked with scars earned on the long roads, and in minor encounters with Uruks, but the most noticeable scar reaches from the left of his forehead, down to the right of his jaw line, almost hitting his neck. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Leofstan Lived in a small fishing village of Iteran, and the lake Oberian. Leofstan worked as a barge man, transporting fish back to the town from the lake, and bringing it to markets. He had lived all of his life living with his family, his sister Adney, brother Wolnoth, and father Selred. They owned a humble home, based along the river, on a long stretching road, which housed most of the village. His Father was head of the guard for the region, and commanded a decently sized force of 90 men, his brother being one of those men. His sister however worked for a small shop in town, where she knit and sewed clothing for the other families. All was fine in Iteran, until a large plague had struck the town, soon after the town faced swarms of locusts, killing their crop. They knew only 1 entity to blame: Iblees. The town was forced into poverty, and starvation. Not a single crop grew, and the piles of bodies grew larger and larger every day. Then one day, in the now miserable town, a great fire rained down upon the houses, which killed many of the people. Within a day of the fires, a large army of Orcs marched on the Village. The village had very little defenses, only a few towns, and some minor walls. The only truly fortified area near the Village was the Guards Fortress, where Leofstan's father lead the men. All living able bodied men were handed swords, and armor, and told to kill any Orcs. The village was decimated within the hour of Orcs arriving, and the men willing, or able to fight fled to the fortress. It was at this fortress that the men of Iteran made their final stand. Large swarms of Orcs crashed against the walls, and broke like water on rock. Towards the end of the battle, the men rallied, and pushed out of the fortress, slaughtering their opponents. The battleground surrounding the fortress was an image of blood and gore, bodies lay scattered across the field for hundreds of yards. Bodies lay piled atop each other is horrifying Tableaus of death. It was in this battle, the famed battle of Iteran, that Leofstan became a man, for he had survived, where so many had perished. After the battle was won, Leofstan and his family were faced with nowhere to go, their village was burned, filled with the corpses of its citizens, it was a city of death. Leofstan was forced to leave, his city being decimated, and made for a city, accompanied by his family, and those remaining soldiers. Their voyage was hard, and during it, they had faces one of the most harsh winters ever seen in that land. Along the journey, wild Orc pacs, remaining nearby had ambushed them multiple times, and that accompanied by the Brutal winds and snow of winter left the group of soldiers with few among their ranks. By the time they had reached their destination, only a handful out of the 60 that had left remained. At least they were now safe, in this new city. Personality Traits: Ambitions: After seeing his true strength, and his potential, Leofstan wants to become a great warrior, known across all the lands, like his father. Strengths/Talents: He is mentally tough, after that first battle he fought, he lost the fear that had once plagued him. He also is a decent fighter, for what its worth. He is extremely good with building fortifications, for his father had taught him such. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Although he may be mentally tough, he is always seeking to be better. He hopes to become the greatest warrior there ever was, and that may just lead to his downfall. His toughness also makes him in compassionate, and heartless. And while he may be physically strong,his mental state is quickly deteriorating, from the horrifying images of his town burning, which will never be forgotten in his mind.
