I searched up good Minecraft roleplay servers and found this one. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is basically acting. Putting yourself in a character’s shoes and taking on that role, becoming the person which you have chosen to act out. What is metagaming?: Using an out of character element to influence something in character. Or referring to the roleplay world from an out of character perspective without actually being OOC. What is powergaming?: When a character, in roleplaying, completely disregarding the guidelines of RP and not considering aspects such as storytelling and other people. For example somebody could do an action in RP and claim that the attack is ‘unstoppable and you can’t do anything’. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Pythorlius Balinron Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human, Heartlander Character’s age: 20 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Pythorlius was born to a large family on the outskirts of the great kingdom of Oren, in the realm of Vailor. He had 4 brothers and 5 sisters. His father was a soldier and his mother was a housewife. He grew up in a secluded part of the countryside, sheltered from the hardships of the outside world. He worked on the farm, working for days on end on the farm. All his brothers and sisters were happy to follow the path, but Pythorlius was different. He was, as you would say, ‘the black sheep of the family’. His father had told Pythorlius to become a soldier like him, and he expected him to comply. But Pythorlius had always known he would not become a soldier. Pythorlius had always been more scholarly than his siblings. While his brothers fought outside with wooden swords, Pythorlius sat in his room reading of the history of his people. His brothers and father looked down upon him, calling him wimp- but his father was determined to shape him into a man which he would be proud to call son. Pythorlius’ father drilled him, taught him the ways of the soldier. Even through rigorous training, Pythorlius never became a strong man. But he did learn quite a few things about tactics. Against Pythorlius’ wishes, his father enlisted him in the army. Then, the rebellion, Adria, struck… Pythorlius witnessed first-hand the many horrors of war and violence. He was smart, he knew how to get on people’s good sides. The same could not be said for his family. His brothers and father were too hot-headed, fighting anyone who angered them in the slightest. This became their downfall… His sisters were married off one by one, to ensure their safety. But sadly his mother died in poverty… Thus, with all his family ties severed, he set off to make a life for himself. And so he travelled on ship to here. And this is where his story begins… Personality Traits: Curious. Determined. Smart. Generous. Squeamish. Charismatic. Ambitions: Pythorlius’ has wanted to rise through the ranks of nobility and become a king’s advisor, a scholar, a teacher to royalty. Something which he would be able to use his intellect. Strengths/Talents: Scholarly. Smart. Hard-working. Very resilient. Agile. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Cowardly. Not especially strong, in regard to brute force.
