What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is basically acting. When you roleplay you are acting like a different person, someone may act like a noblemen, while another act as a peasant. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using Out Of Character information in roleplay. For example you are on teamspeak with a friend and you are being attacked. You then call for your friend to go to the place you are being attacked. That is metagaming, your friend did not know of the fight in roleplay, so there was no way he/she could be there. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is basically instantly killing someone or becoming so overpowered you can kill ten people with ease. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Xezus Lillith Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 27 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Xezus was born in a small town in Athera. He was raised with his sister Alda Lillith by his parents. When Xezus was nine his family migrated to Vailor with many others. Once there Xezus and his family purchased a small plot of land in a growing town. After about a year Xezus was living peacefully in his newly made home with his parents and sister. Shortly after Xezus's house was finished, the infamous dwarf Guraim burned it down during a robbery, leaving his parents and sister dead. Xezus was devastated at the sight of his home burning. He dropped to his knees and began to cry. Then, a strange man put his hand on his shoulder. Wiping the tears from his face Xezus turned to see the stranger. It turns out the stranger (Jax), was apart of a mercenary guild traveling through the town. Out of pity, Jax decided to bring Xezus home in hallowvale and teach him how to defend himself. Over the years Xezus learned how to fight with a blade and his hands. Jax had also taught him how to read and write. Xezus took up a passion for reading. He found one book in particular quite interesting. It was about the life of an assassin. From that book Xezus learned how to manipulate and gain information from people. Curious to see if the new tactics he learned would work, he began to become a rather mischievous child. Although some good came from the book he read and the mischievous acts he committed. Xezus learned of several morals the assassin lived by. 1.Do not harm children, 2.When the make a promise you must forever keep it, and number 3.You must never turn down a challenge. On that day Xezus vowed to live by these rules forever and that his dream was to become an assassin or mercenary. Amongst all the others who died from the plague of 1526 Jax was one of them. Once Jax fell ill and passed away, Xezus vowed to become a great mercenary in order to fulfill Jax's long term dream that was cut short by the plague. And so his journey begins. Personality Traits: Xezus is usually shady, trusting no one, and able to gain information and manipulate people. He has a passion for mercenary work, or things that cannot be done under the law, hence the reason why he is so shady and not trusting of others. Some may say he is dishonorable, but Xezus is honorable in the way that he will unyielding follow his morals. He also has a soft spot for children. If he ever sees a child being harmed or in need of help, he will step in. Xezus also has many hobbies, such as cooking and hunting. In his free time he is usually hunting or cooking at his small cabin in the woods. Ambitions: Xezus wishes to become a well known assassin/mercenary. Strengths/Talents: Xezus is skilled in sword fighting and hand to hand combat. He is also rather good at investigating/spying. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Xezus is easily threatened and if he feels challenged he will not hesitate to attack.
