What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you play as a new role. A new persona. You become something that normally you would be unable to. What is metagaming?: It is when you use out of character information that your character does not know while you are in character. It is bad. Your character only knows what he himself hears. What is powergaming?: When you act like a god basically. When you act as though you are unkillable and undefeatable, then you are powergaming. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Elena Bryers Character’s sex: F Character’s race: Impure High Elf Character’s age: 76 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Elena was born in Haelun'or from her pure parents in the capital. Her mother was terribly ill, and passed away soon after her birth. Elena was left under the care of her father before she fully matured, and her father seemed to fall a bit. Her father was not a very welcomed High Elf within society due to the fact that he believed High Elves to be inferior to the other races due to their narcissism. This unfavorable idealism soon led to her father becoming an outcast. The other High Elf children would stay away from her due to the fact that this man was her father. She would be picked on during her studies at the local High Elf Academy she attended. Her childhood was one of loneliness. Her father; however, was a man of great caring. He would be her friend when she needed one, and he would be there to help her with her studies. Their bond as father and daughter grew into that of best friends. She was happy when she was with her father. Her father began to travel to Oren to do enchanting in order to earn the money required to sustain their lifestyle. After many years of studying and graduating from the academy, she went with her father to see what the outside world was like. Little did she know was that her father was seeing a woman from the Bryers' Clan in the Highlands of Oren. She was shocked to see her father stoop so low, and stormed off into the wilderness in a fluster of emotional conflict which is uncommon for a High Elf. As she sat in the wilderness she saw smoke rising from the canopy in which she came from. It was then when Elena knew that something was wrong. She ran in the direction of the clan only to find it razed to the ground. What remained where the charred foundations of lodges, and the scent of cooked flesh. She heard something in the distance. It was the sound of two boys crying. These two boys had lost all that they had in their world. She would follow them on their journey to Felsen as a member of their clan. She fell from the High Elves as an impure. Her story began with tragedy, and now she sets out to find her own path in life. Personality Traits: Stubborn, Fearless, Easily Angered. Ambitions: To stop the anguish in other people's hearts. Strengths/Talents: She is excellent in hand to hand combat since she had to beat up bullies all the time. She can read and write in most languages due her father's teachings. Weaknesses/Inabilities: She is mentally unstable for a High Elf. She can easily lose her temper, or breakdown. She is more emotionally like a human. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 6'1" 145 lbs She is slender, yet relatively more muscular for a High Elf. It may be that she has Human blood in her from a grandparent or great grandparent. It is undetermined though.
