Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Johann Stahlman-Nacht was born, roughly 31 winters ago, in the undeniably Human city of Petrus as third son to Margot and Steyn Stahlmann-Nacht. Always out on the streets in search for adventure he spent more time on the cobbles than under a roof; much to the dismay of his parents whose elder sons were both eager learners, apprenticed to some of the city’s most skilled craftsmen. His parents were not rich, not by far, but scraped together what they had to afford him an apprenticeship from one of the city’s street physicians when he turned fourteen, sending him off to live with the man in the naval city of Port Vydrik as soon as the apprenticeship was agreed upon. There, he quickly found himself fascinated by the craft, although he had to learn most of his knowledge from hands-on lessons rather than books or teachers as the street-corner physician was both an alcoholic and an extremely lazy man, sleazing off whenever he had the opportunity. By his own 17th day of birth, Johann had taken over most of the work within the physician’s business, and had amassed quite some skill in surgery despite the incompetence of his tutor. Tired of a meager pay whilst he himself did most of the work, he spoke out against the physician. Soon after, he and his few things were kicked back onto the cobbles.
With his return to the cobbles came another call from his youth: adventure. Alone and still wet from the rain on the cold streets, he pawned his few things to a broker and turned to the one thing he was taught to do: surgery. He signed up on tired legs with the motley crew of the trade galleon Golden Wind as their surgeon and cook. In the following fourteen years, he learned three things: that he hated the open ocean, that strong alcohol was the best remedy for any ailment (except seasickness, much to his own dismay- swearing worked best against that), and that he thoroughly enjoyed his job. Coming to these realisations, he saved whatever coin he could and joined the first ship back to his homeland. So it was, that after fourteen years, he set foot on the stone cobbles of Port Vydrik once again, this time prepared for anything.
Personality Traits: Often darkly mooded and with an affinity for curses and alcohols, Johann can easily be mistaken for an unfriendly man, however he is far from that once you gain his trust. From that moment onwards, he will act brotherly towards you, however he can still seem distant at times, having seen a lot of hardship in his life.
Johann does not care for politics or fancyfolk, and will strongly appreciate those that agree with him in his no-nonsense policy. He prefers it when those he talks to do not hide their motives, and are honest about themselves. “Lies don’t get you anywhere but the grave.” He also reinforces this in his practices: he is brutally honest about his treatments. Because of this disposition, he is strongly suspicious of High Elves, having found that they always have several more motives beside the one that seems apparent.
Ambitions: To find work, a home, and perhaps eventually even be able to live out his days in peace. However, he is not shy of adventure and adrenaline.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):
Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here): Easily recognisable by his bushy black beard and equally messy hairdo, Johann has the look of a weathered sailor. However, this could not be further from the truth, as he carries a slight spring in his step and his deep green eyes are full of life and lust for adventure. Often times, he can be seen wearing a long vest made from calfskin dyed red, his most prized possession. Under this, he wears a simple shirt, once perhaps white but stained with age, and a pair of simple brown trousers adorned with a leather belt equally weathered to his appearance, matched by a pair of leather boots and simple gloves.
