How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I found out about Lord Of The Craft through Sage Candle's web series. What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is taking on a role/persona/character to do things that the character would do, yet not oneself. What is metagaming?: Meta-gaming is a good way of royally F!@#ing RP by using information your character wouldnt know, like knowing some character was allergic to Sycamore trees, and than acknowledging his weakness and proceeding to beat him to death with a slab of sycamore rosewood. How the character know it was his weakness? What is powergaming?: Powergming is an even worse way of F!@#ing up RP by making your character unfirly strong against others, and restricting the roleplay of others to make it conform to one's own agendas/story/favor. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Character’s name: Jack Eplier Character’s sex: Woman (who is pretending to be a MANLY MAN) Character’s race: HuMAN(LY-MAN) Character’s age:24 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Jack Eplier was not born 'Jack Eplier', but rather a young girl named Judith Presten was born in Petrus, Athera, to two rather well established merchants. Judith for the most part lived an uneventful childhood, being taught by local canonist monks about how to read and write, and by the time to move to Vailor (due to a worm eating it.) she was already a rather educated young tween, yet at this age her life began to sour. As most girls whom begin blooming into a woman, Judith's parents explained to her the standard way of life for a woman of her future stature. Get married to someone rich, and have lots of babies. Yet, Judith protested. She wanted to do more in life than marry some self-entitled man and play nanny for the rest of her days. She wanted to make her own living, and her own choices, and earn her own dang riches so that a well versed man would take care of HER kids and play nanny for HER. Yet, her parents were determined on making her a suitable woman for a man, which was met with great protest. Ripping dresses, throwing choche-ing needles, and cutting her hair rater short to make herself seem as unwomanly as possible. Yet, alas, her efforts were in vain, as a rather wealthy war-veteran began taking interests in Judith when she was only 22. Judith's parents began making arrangements to have her married off, and whilst Judith was fairly miffed and indignant to her circumstances, she plotted a way to escape all of this. 2 months before the supposed wedding, Judith asked her fiance only one thing in return for her hand, to have his old armor fitted for her. The old soldier gladly did such, assuming that simply was for some deviant activity in bed for the future. (He really didnt get out much, so he could really thing why a simple educated woman would want male armor fitted aside from something pertaining to love-making.) Fitted in the armor the next day, Judith made her escape, rather disruptively grabbing a horse right after the fitting, brandishing her middle-finger, and running off towards Laureh'lin. Now, taking the name of Jack Eplier, and the facade of a man as to not be taken back by her parents, Judith now seeks her own fame, fortune, and destiny. Personality Traits: Jack is a charamasmatic (wo)man with a lust for money, power, and affection. And while midly nice and amiable at appearence, she is rather selfish with a sour disposition upon giving anyone anything not earned. Ambitions: To become more powerful and rich than any man she could possibly marry. Strengths/Talents: She is a rather silver-tounged individual, choosing to try and snake her way out of confrontations rather than actively engaging in conflict. She is well educated in history and literature, understanding rather well how to read and write likewise. Weaknesses/Inabilities: His fighting, workmanship, love-life, and physical appearence leave alot to be wanted, not especially skilled at anything.
