What is roleplaying?: my view on roleplay is the act of one person playing out a life of an ingame charactor. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use out of charactor infomation to better yourself within the game; for example, you are walking down a road and you see a man "this man is not a very nice man in game" however you have never met him before. through past looking on the forum you notice he has wrote down hes no0t a nice person in game so therefore you aviod him to insure there is no conflict. When if you didn't know that info you may have walked over to him to have a talk. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is where you use your charactor to dictate the situation for example, you are walking down a round and you see a girl. you ask her to follow you and she says i'm not sure, then you turn around and grab her pulling her down the round without her choice. there for forcing other players to act the way your charactor is making them play. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Ever since a young boy he has been on the hunt killing small creatures for food. Walter has no idea where his Mum and Dad is as they left him at a very young age. Dropping him off at village ran by Humans. Walter began to grow and he realised that he was different to the other children. why were his ears pointed he thought, then the time came for him to be told. When he was told he was not human Walter ran and ran untill he was lost; living alone for many years until a wondering man caught Walters eye. He ran up to the man and asked where he was going. Walter was stunded by the mans bravery and thats where Walters story begins. Looking for a new life, with new people, unaware of the dangers outside the caves of his mountin home; but yet ready for anything that comes before him. Walter Sams now knows his true race as a wood elf he lives deep within the forests with the other wood elfs being informed about why he has no brothers and sisters due to the CURSE of Iblees. He now understands the true nature of what it's like to be a true wood elf, looking up into the sky and praying for Malin; as Walter sees Malin as a god. Since the begining of Walters travel he has lived in many forests all over the land. where ever there is trees he will stay there, moving from one spot to the next all the way from The cloud temple to Laureh'lin the Wood Elf city. Walter knows very little about the different types of elf all he knows is that the wood elf's are the good elfs and to stay away from the dark elfs. Personality Traits: Eagle eyed and quick minded, confident but not arrangent, Ambitions: looking for a new life in lands untold to him before. on the sreach for new groups for him to join and for friends to last a life time. Strengths/Talents: great with a bow. and excellent when talking to people (sounding proper inevery conversation) Weaknesses/Inabilities: very uninformed with the world around him and struggles getting on with the smaller dwellers known as Dwarfs (however does warm to them over time) Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): very thin but tall Height:5ft 7, Weight:11stone, Blue eyed, brown hair with a small beard (has a beard so he doesn't feel to different to Humans) Clothes hand made.
