Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A graven is an unholy even spectral being created by an unlawful or a violent death. The individual facing this fate would have been very dedicated to their work or purpose in life. Then proceeding to rise up as Graven’s if that task was left unfinished when they died. Although taking several hundred years before they would rise, - sometimes this process is speeded up by a certain magic. For example a book writer who was assassinated because the book they were writing had certain contents in it that certain people didn’t want to be public could rise as a Graven because the death was unjust and their work was left unfinished. This graven would be forced to continue their work until it would be finished, in this case finish the book that they were writing before the assassination. One would say that they are bound to finish their task not being free until it would be finished. They cannot affect the matter and do not have any other choices unless they wish to fade away and never return.

Graven are spirits meaning interaction with the many races in the Isles of Axios would be limited to the area to where their duty, oath, or ideals belonged to. A guard who died an unjust or unlawful death would be forced to guard the location that they guarded in their previous life for eternity or until it is destroyed. A graven cannot be exorcised because they haunt the very location that acts as their anchor. Should the location that for example the guardsman had guarded and still guards be destroyed. The Graven would be left to roam the world and be free to do what they wish. Say the guardsman who guards the location that he is bound to. The graven would feel energised but if it wouldn’t have guarded in a while. They would ‘fade’ away until they’d be able to muster the energy to manifest once more. This process happens automatically and a Graven may not decided when they are reborn.

Graven’s flicker or ‘fade’ from sight. This is due to the spirit energy that ties them to the world cannot bind their soul on that location for long. Graven’s are near invisible in the darkness and very hard to spot. They appear as spectral or even undead beings. They have bodies commonly wreathed in illusory darkness or spectral flame that can be harmed like any mortal. They might carry fire instead of flesh around their body and a blackened skeletal visage. Sometimes even having a rotted skin, and or flesh tinged-poison green. It is also possible for a Graven to look more similar to a regular ghost. Making direct eye contact with a Graven will reveal the screaming, trapped spirit within and temporarily make mortals insane.

There is no difference as to what weapon you use to kill a graven, -- because a graven can be killed with regular steel, aurum and enchanted weaponry. Although aurum and enchanted weaponry are still more efficient and likely prefered when it comes to killing a Graven, it doesn’t matter in the end as all of the weapons are efficient and capable of striking down a Graven. Certain magics are also very lethal toward these spectral creatures. The following: Alteration, Fi’, Shamanism, and Holy Magics work well in bringing one down. A graven also has a major aversion to sunlight usually forcing them to wear thick clothing and armoring when outside in daylight. As an addition a graven may be ‘slain’ and can be very much killed as stated above. Disrupting their spectral form will consume the fueling energy keeping them alive. Plunging a regular steel weapon in to what remains of a Graven’s heart. Will surely kill it as where it would kill a regular man.

Then looking for vengeance against them somehow. Or a scientist that had been very dedicated to his work that would've died of an assasination could rise as a graven to finish his work if it was important. A graven usually appears as an undead or a spectral being. They might have flames seen instead of regular flesh making them more apparitions than undead. A graven might also look the same as a regular ghost, - and have many other possible looks. Looking a graven in the eyes can make a mortal temporarily insane. Graven's usually also flicker or fade from sight. This is because spirit energy binds them to this world and cannot bind their soul there for long. Graven's are vulnerable to regular steel and aurum among other things. A steel against a graven can be compared as the same as steel against human flesh, like Aurum it is highly deadly and can almost guarantee the Graven's death. And almost any weapon with an enchantment can damage or hurt a graven seriously. Holy Magic, Shamanism, Alteration magic, and Fi' is also considered a weakness for the Graven's. Graven's cannot walk in the sunlight due to having aversion to it. Ths forces them to wear thick clothing and heavy armor in order to cover themselves.

Vege is a mature player who thinks the good of the server above his own goals, which makes him GM material in my eyes. Two and half years on the server is a long time which means he knows how things work around n' about.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: Golems are constructs fueled by a magical core. They do not age, tire, or sleep like a mortal man. These beings follow the word of their Impera (which is their master) and cannot break his word. Golems cannot be their own masters either, for they have to keep themselves in an order loop.  Once a golem's core is destroyed, the stone being will cease to function, and damaging the core will turn it into a red core Golem, making it berserk. Golems are very slow due to their weight and structure.

LOOKING FOR A GOLEMANCER

I've been thinking recently  around a little bit after playing a few Human Characters, that it might be time for me to play something a little more unique. A Golem Construction seemed a nice option, and so that leads to me here talking to you fellas on the Forum, trying to find a Golemancer to make a Golem. I'm willing to spend time on it, you'll learn to love me, but i'm down to the Master selling me for Minas too. Well if there are any Golemancers out there, i'm willing to put time and effort into becoming one. Thanks for reading ;)
