You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): How is a text-based combat going to work and isnt it often decided in the end with mechanic-based combat? sorry if the question wasnt understandable I surfed on youtube and I was looking for a roleplaying server, it had to be medieval, with a little magic of course, or something special about it. Definitions What is roleplaying?: To act like another person or character, can be fictional characters. Its like theatre, when you play a sudden role. What is metagaming?: It is when you act or speak of something your character doesnt know about yet, because it have not been played out in the act. What is powergaming?: Power gaming is when you say you are doing things more powerful than your character is in reality, and actually not capable of doing. In-Character Information Character’s name: Mirak Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 20 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Mirak was born in the Athera realm, he was found by a soldier named Hagrid. Hagrid promised the baby boy that he would take care of him untill he could bare a shield. He took the boy with him to the isle of vailor where he saw the boy grow up to be a young man with experiance in combat. he taught the boy discipline, dueling with swords, archery, tactics and how to be a gentleman. One day a group of bandit Orcs, came to destroy their village, Hagrid was trying to fighting them off, but lost his right arm, Mirak Yelled "Im going to be your right arm" out of no where Mirak came from a tree above and slashed the orc down in two pieces. He took Hagrids shield and it was amazingly heavy, but his will was burning inside of him, so he could manage to get a hold of it. In that second he stood there, people from another village was coming to aid them in battle, Mirak was holding some of them off but was knocked out by one of the orcs, he then got safed by Hagrid and some of the villagers. A day after the huge battle he woke up, grab his sword and said to Hagrid " Im going to search for the orc bandits". Hagrid said " you stubborn boy dont go out and seek violence". Mirak turned around and walked back to Hagrid " sorry sir" he said and made his way down to the kitchen. Mirak respected Hagrid very much and looked up to him as a father, it was not the respect for hagrid that let the young boy decide to go back, but the discipline he have been taught since his first steps. Years have passed Hagrid is now an old man, the boy is now a man in his 20's. Mirak goes into the world as a grown man with the ambition to join the military forces. So he one day can walk in Hagrids footprint. Personality Traits: Alert, caring, balanced, disciplined, gentle Ambitions: Becoming a High ranked officer in the military, protect the weak and the poor. Strengths/Talents: Focused on his targets and goals, always think like a chess game in life. Weaknesses/Inabilities: controlling/strongwilled, uncompromising. Do not like changes and can be insensitive as he want to take charge of any given situation.
