Character’s name: Keldan Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Cave Dwarf Character’s age: 135 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Keldan was born to a small cave dwarf settlement that lived deep within the icy mountains of Urguan. Both his family and the other families down there were unknown to the rest of the non-dwarven world as they lived secluded within their dark and rocky caves. Keldan’s family consisted solely of his father as his mother had great complications during birth and passed through the night. Keldan’s father took great pride in his beardling son as not only did he begin to swing a pickaxe at a young age, his beard also grew in quicker and thicker than any of the other beardlings. This was something both he and his father took great pride of as beards are very prominent in dwarven society. His father worked similarly to every other male cave dwarf in his small society, they mined for various minerals such as ferrum or aurum and sold them to their town treasurer who would in turn sell them to the official Kingdom of Urguan. Although his father was an average miner what he did excel in was tinkering and he considered this a great hobby of his, always working on a new gadget or invention. Keldan continued his simple life of mining and exploring around the caves of his home until he reached an age where he was no longer reliant on his father. He began to sell his ore and minerals to the treasurer himself and earned his own income. He continued this simple yet peaceful life for several years and even used inventions from his father that would help him acquire even more ores. One of them was a pair of goggles which protected his eyes from pieces of flying stone as well as helped his already great eyesight in the dark to see even better. This allowed him to mine without the need of artificial light such as torches or lanterns. Keldan was deep within the mines when a large rumbling was heard all throughout the entirety of his cave home. It sounded as if a giant was walking above and certainly startled Keldan causing him to begin his trek back home however the same rumbling caused a cave in on the mine shaft he was in, trapping him inside. Keldan remained in his trapped hole for a few days distraught due to his predicament and the fact that his father’s prized goggles had been destroyed by the falling stone. He received no word of his kin and made assumptions that they all died due to the cave in as well. He began to take matters into his own hands mining slightly upwards rather than outwards. He continued this for several weeks, mining until his hands could no longer grip his pickaxe. He was starving and began to weaken due to this, his beard began to slowly thin out as well which worried him deeply. However he continued pushing forward and eventually broke through to light, albeit to an unknown place. He wandered around for about a day before coming across the first sign of civilization, a dock. He boarded a large boat bearing the grey and orange flags of Urguan. He let loose a sigh, finally sitting down he began to wonder about his father and whether he was still alive. The captain of the ship let loose the anchor and the boat was off towards the land of Vailor leaving behind his old life. Personality Traits: Hardworking, loyal to dwarves, xenophobic to other races. Ambitions: Hopefully find his father, join the official Kingdom of Urguan as a miner, prove his loyalty to his new dwarven brothers. Strengths/Talents: Can mine for hours on end with little to no tiring, good at haggling prices, small redstone/tinkering knowledge from his father. Weaknesses/Inabilities: No training in weaponry as his peaceful mining settlement did not need them. Unable to cook, tailor, blacksmith. Cannot work or get along with non-dwarves which causes a barrier. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 4 foot 7 inches, 230lbs.
