What is roleplaying?: Portraying a fictional character you've created by acting out the events that transpire throughout their lives and working with other roleplayers to create a storyline.
What is metagaming?: The use of information gained outside of roleplay to influence actions taken in character either for your own gain or the detriment of others.
What is powergaming?: Creating unrealistic and unfair advantages in roleplay by either controlling another character's actions to give yourself an advantage or by having unusually strong powers or abilities.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
At the end of the Duke's war, Lauretta's family had seen enough of combat. Her father had lost a brother on the battlefield, and her mother's father simply vanished without a trace. The family suspects he became the victim of ravenous beasts - another tale they used to discourage their children from random adventuring. The fear that perhaps the realm would once again degrade into war kept them always wary. Soon enough, they found a small cottage near Summerhall and kept quietly to themselves, farming and trading what they could with any who passed through. The Margot family was small, quiet, and not particularly noteworthy for anything. Thus, they generally escaped the notice of their liege lord, Duke Augustus, even up until the time of his disappearance. When the Emperor's cousin, Godwine Horen took control, her family once again settled into being silent, invisible tenants.
Lauretta herself grew up very pious. With little but frightening tales of war to entertain her, she became fond of attending masses. The word of God gave her frightened mind a peace and tranquility, and helped her to become literate. Her dearest wish was to offer the same compassion and guidance that the priests did, though she doubted she would ever be as trusted as they were. She began passing out bread and meat to wandering strangers, in hopes of lifting their spirits and reminding them that kindness does exist in the world. As she came of age, she began a pilgrimage to see the great cathedrals and to learn as much as she could about the Faith, ever growing in God's grace.
Personality Traits: Having grown in a family that valued keeping their heads down, Lauretta became just as eager to avoid notice. The prominent nail gets hammered, she was always told, and so she learned to keep herself to herself, follow orders, and generally not make trouble. Her piety lends her a certain desire to help others, however, and that desire is constantly at war with her timid nature. Offering aid in whatever way she can gives her the greatest pleasure, but she is frequently undone by her own suspicious nature.
Ambitions: To learn more of the church's teachings, and in some way offer her own succor to those seeking the blessings of God. To learn the arts of healing and caring after the sick and injured
Strengths/Talents: Piety, Gentleness, and a healthy dose of suspicion that keeps her cautious
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Reserved and distant, her disinterested attitude keeps many from warming up to her.
Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Lauretta's appearance is relatively nondescript, her height being around five feet four inches, and weight about 110 lbs. The only things worth noting are the freckles on her face and how well-kept her hands and nails are for a girl who grew up in a farming family.
