Due to his birth his families carefully balanced budget was thrown into ruin, as a result his mother Ann and father Fredrick decided to move into a much smaller house. Whilst growing up, Terrence took a liking to metalwork making intricate mechanisms, from a young age his father heavily discouraged him, saying "If the creator wanted you to design better locks he would have made you a dwarf!". As he grew older, Terrence found himself developing an attraction to a young girl his age, however when Terrence introduced him self he was promptly rejected, in tears Terrence vowed never to love again. When growing up, Terrence found himself occasionally taking a few combat lessons from a man named Smithy. Whilst Terrence barely knew the man, he was aware he had some militaristic background of some sort. Upon his 14th birthday Terrence got into a brawl with his oldest brother, Charles, after the brawl ended his father promptly kicked Terrence out of the house and disowned him. Terrence then took the surname McTubbington after a great engineer. After he was disowns Terrence traveled deep into the north where one day he found a mysterious cave when he entered it he was struck unconscious, when he woke up he was outside the cave and there was a strange black spot on the left of his neck ever since he would get occasional black outs and wake up in strange places.
