Character’s gender: Female
Character’s race: Mali'ame
Character’s age: 55
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Born with an infirmity that causes her to be mute, Mayilu had a solitary childhood. She spent her days reading of other lands and wandering the forests taking solace in the solitude and peace. Her parents tried very hard to keep her disability a secret from the rest of the elves in the community, but suspicions and rumors ran rampant. As Mayilu was coming home one night she noticed a group of Elders speaking to her parents with raised voices. She hid behind a tree until they left and then headed home. As she entered the house her parents embraced her lovingly, and explained that the Elders did not want her there anymore lest the malady infect others. Her parents knew it was not contagious, being a birth defect caused by the poisonous Thanic dust her father worked with. Having no other choices left to them they left their home in Fi'Ceru and sailed to the mainland arriving in Haelun'or and finally making it to Laureh'lin to make a new life.
In Laureh'lin things were very different. She wasn't allowed to leave the house alone, wander the woods as she did at her old home, or even be at home by herself. She began to feel suffocated, this whole city to explore and her world was even smaller then the life she fled from. She assured herself that things would change but they never did.
On Mayilu's 55th birthday she decided that enough was enough, she would make her own way in life independent of her sheltering and over protective parents. That very morning she quietly packed her things and left home before anyone else was awake. She makes her way over the walls by climbing down the trees that grow next to it and onto the main road, avoiding anyone who happened to be up this early. After a few days travel she arrives at the Cloud Temple ready to start the adventure that is her new beginning.
Personality Traits: Loyal, Timid, Naïve.
Ambitions: To simply live a life independent from her sheltering parents.
