His parents were out exploring in The Uzg were they were captured by the orcs. Hal went looking for his parents. When he came to The Uzg, he found his parents dead and seeked revenge. When Hal killed the commander that had decapitated his parents, Hal found a prisoner and untied him. The man said he was a bounty hunter, but he was to old to be bounty hunting and hired Hal to bounty hunt for him. The man lived in Felson and Hal and the man moved to Felson. The man turned his house into a bounty hunter center. When it was finished Hal asked what the man's name was. The man said his name was Morgan Ryder. Hal then went to bounty hunt. He slayed orcs (which he still has a grudge against). He slayed a mandolorian knight and that's how he got his armor. And wearing that armor makes him think about his life long dream of being a knight. One day when Hal was out bounty hunting, he saw a small hobbit bounty hunting his own bounty. When the hobbit was done assassinating a goblin Hal was able to meet the hobbit. The hobbit's name was Rufus Farfoot. Hal asked the hobbit if he would like to join him. The hobbit said yes and he joined Hal's bounty hunting group. And that's the tail of Hal Esmund.
