My character will be a wood elf as elves are my favourite mythical creatures and wood elves are my favourite type of elf. My character would be 18 In a small and cosy cottage on the outskirts of Laureh'lin, a child named Daechon Daechir was born to a necromantic family. He lived -with his parents- far away from prying eyes. From the very start, Daechon was the perfect child. His skill in necromancy seemed practically unlimited. He was however, powerless. He lacked any form of his own power and instead had to rely on others. He couldn't even gain the power to take someone else's unless it was physically given to him. Because of this, he never his house for that was the only place he knew of with free power. The other thing that made him perfect was that he seemed to be completed void of morality. Seemed to be... For Daechon had a certain bit of knowledge from an early age. He knew this from the source of his power. His older brother Elion had decided that necromancy wasn't for him and because of that he had been locked in the basement and was now the primary power source for his family's magic. Due to this knowledge, Daechon built up a fake image about him to avoid the fate his brother had -his would likely had been worse due to his lack of power-. Daechon never met his brother and his brother never met him. As far as his parents knew, Daechon didn't even know he had a brother. However, this was wrong. Daechon had seen his brother once. His parents were out and Daechon was curious. He wanted to know the source of his families power. He opened the badly concealed, concealed door and looked into the basement. There was a single child in there who's feature were a close match do Daechon's own - only older and clearly under malnourished-. Despite already knowing the answer, Daechon held his hand up to his brother. From the surge of energy he felt, he knew this was the source of his power. But what could he do? He wanted there and then to release his brother, but that would ensure his parents anger, and why would his brother trust him? Instead, Daechon bided his time. He walked back out basement and resealed the door. He would act like it never happened... For now. Not long after, Daechon did do something. He snuck from his home in the middle of the night, and ran to the nearest collection of souls he could find. Once he arrived in the town, he went straight to the fullest building -the pub-. Once in there, he warned a group of knights of a couple of necromancers he had spotted. Upon giving directions back to his own house, the knights chose to reward Daechon by buying him a single drink. Of course, Daechon had never had alcohol and found its effects a lot stronger than he expected. By the time he woke back up (with his head hurting like hell) several hours had past. He quickly ran back to his house to release his brother. But the door had been knocked down and a few footprints led from the house before the trail failed. Annoyed at his stupidity, Daechon quickly began to run in the direction of the foot prints. Sadly for him, they led to the docks. Without having any way of finding his brother, Daechon decided to begin asking. A completely inexperienced, weak, new elf should be easy to remember. Daechon has a perfectly happy and innocent personality, however he can easily put up a careless front without a moment's notice. Daechon's goal is to simply make amends to his brother for his treatment by his parents. Daechon's vast intelligence allows him to easily maintain conversation with even the smartest of scholars. He also has quite a bit of skill in blade wielding -thanks to his parents-. Due to his intelligence, Daechon quickly tires of any conversation with someone who's intelligence fails to meet his. Due to spending his whole life at his house, Daechon has little knowledge of interactions and thus is not at all skilled in conversation or respect. Definitions Roleplay is where players can go into their own in depth story and can immerse themselves in their own Imagination. Metagaming is using knowledge that you obtained out of character. My character will be a wood elf as elves are my favourite mythical creatures and wood elves are my favourite type of elf. My character would be 18 In a small and cosy cottage on the outskirts of Laureh'lin, a child named Elion Daechir was born to a necromantic family. He lived -with his parents- far away from prying eyes. From the very start, Elion seemed different. He had no skill what so ever in necromancy and -as he grew up- he began to question the morality of what his parents were doing. He began to pity the lives of others and began to go against his parent's wishes. But his parents would not have this. They decided to get rid of Elion. But not via killing him. Despite his lack of necromantic skill, Elion's kind and innocent soul was strong with power. His parents locked him in their basement and fed off first his hope, and then his despair. Once a week, they unlock the hidden entrance to the basement, and put a single plate of food and water in, and to take away the bucket which Elion used for his toilet. Other than this, Elion was left in the cold, rotting room. When it rained, he would have to climb on old decrepit crates to escape the gurgling water. He was unable to see much. His only light came from a small crack under the door. When he was younger, both of Elion's eyes had been an electric blue colour -powered by the strength of his soul-. But years of feeding his parents sacrifices had sapped all the energy from his left eye. Despite the lack of any living presence -other than the spiders- Elion was not alone. After a matter of days locked away, Elion developed an imaginary friend. On occasions they would discuss his predicament -or how to make his parents pay- but on most days they would play. Elion's imagination would take them all over their very own imaginative world. They spent very little time in the confines of the basement. After a few years though, Elion's imaginary friend (now a whole sub-section of his mind) became restless. He was tiring of the games they used to play, and would spend far longer plotting on ways to strike revenge on Elion's mother and father. Noticing this, Elion would try to comfort his imaginary friend. But not long after, he started to listen. His imaginary friend was right. But what could he do? he couldn't overpower his parents when they entered the basement. The soul sapping and lack of food had made sure of that. Over time he could break the door hinges. But his parents would immediately notice. Thankfully, fate shined on Elion for -not much later- a group of heroic adventurers from Ker'nor had learned of the existence of two evil necromancers -Elion's mum and dad- and had come to vanquish them. They managed to succeed, but the door to the basement was hidden and so Elion was left alone. Exactly a week later -when Elion's food was due- he realised something was up. He knew it meant one of two things. Either his parents were gone, or they no longer needed him. Either way, now was his chance to escape. With his imaginary friend encouraging him, Elion smashed the door hinges off and emerged into the outside. Once out, the sun almost blinded him and so he immediately darted into the house. Almost immediately, he noticed the lack of his of parents. Unknown to him, the adventurers had burned his parents bodies -in fear of some kind of necromantic (after death) magic-. The second he noticed, were the weapons. A dagger and a sword -dropped behind the table-. The sword belonged to one of the adventurers who had been burried by his companions, whilst the dagger had been his parents.Elion recognised the weapons. Unknown to Elion, the dagger would continue to weaken him due to its necromantic charm. Once equipped, Elion set off. He had a new life ahead of him. And he was perfectly ready to forget his last one. But his friend still wanted revenge. And now he had a dagger. Elion has a perfectly happy and innocent personality, although if any topic that links with his past comes up, he'll become more agitated and angry. Elion's goal is to simply start a new life whilst his imaginary friend's goal is revenge. Elion's innocence and high charisma allows him to talk his way out of most situations. Due to the strength of his soul, Elion can last longer against magic/life/soul sucking powers. Due to years spent in a basement, Elion is alarmingly week. Elion has no knowledge in fighting. Elion has very low intelligence as his parents never taught him anything. Elion can be taken over by his imaginary friend. Elion can be seen as crazy when interacting with his imaginary friend. Elion can be blinded by both innocence and rage -Sparing and killing people when he should do the opposite-. 3. (I corrected the errors from my first form. There was nothing against alternate personalities so I included that again) Out-Of-Character Information My Minecraft account name is Stardash702. I am 13 years old. I am aware of the server's 13 rating. I have read all the servers rules and will follow them. I agree the most with the anti Power Gaming rule as Power Gaming forces players to react in ways they may not like and thus ruin the roleplay. I found out about the server via a You Tube video. Definitions Roleplay is where players can go into their own in depth story and can immerse themselves in their own Imagination. Metagaming is using knowledge that you obtained out of character. Powergaming is forcing a character to take a certain action. In-Character Information My characters name is Stardash because I've grown used to using that name in all other games. My character is male. My character will be a wood elf as elves are my favourite mythical creatures and wood elves are my favourite type of elf. My character would be 18 No to long ago, an elf was born on the outskirts of Laureh'lin in a small wooden house. The boy was named Stardash and he was raised happily with his parents. His parents taught him not to be violent -advice which he has always followed-. During his childhood, he was not schooled as his family was too poor to afford it. So instead he would explore. He would explore whenever the opportunity presented itself -which it did often-. His adventures allowed him to learn of the many ruins which featured in the games he used to play. He would play by himself (the nearest kids being far away) in and out of the ruins. Whenever he saw a traveller, Stardash would always greet them and happily help them if they were lost. Now, when I said that Stardash would never harm anyone, I told the truth. But it wasn't just Stardash that occupied the elf boy's head. The boy suffered from Dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality disorder). This meant that Stardash could easily switch from his usual happy and friendly personality to a far more callous evil one. This served as useful to Stardash. His peaceful surroundings kept the other personality in check and if those surroundings got bad, he would have help. It also helped to have a friend. But the other personality cared little for friendship. It took advantage of Stardash's excepting mind to come up close and personal with him. This made it so that Stardash would gain a sense of trust for the deceptive personality. At first the alternate personality was cautious. Convincing Stardash to say the occasional rude word here. Hit the occasional bug there. But then he tried his luck more. The occasional theft here. The occasional hit and run there. But that wasn't enough. The alternate personality needed blood. So it pushed even harder. Kill the occasional animal here. Use stronger weapons on people. Stardash was suspicious at first, but the evil personality made sure he didn't go to far. But all the above was still too little. The personality had to be the one to do it. So one day, the alternate personality took over. It got a knife and snuck off. It slaughtered both of Stardash's parents, and made its way straight to the nearest village. Stabbing any animal it saw. Then it took the first person available, and plunged a knife into their heart. Drenched in blood, it ran to the closest ruins and hid there. It didn't know for how long. It stayed down there, drenched in blood and laughing hysterically the whole time. Eventually, Stardash resurfaced. He had no idea on how he had come to that cave. But he quickly made his way out. It was dark and so Stardash quickly ran home. It took him about an hour to make it, he was nearly there... When he saw the smoke. His home had been burnt to the ground. Unknown to Stardash, the soldiers of the village he had attacked had followed his path of slaughtered animals until they found the humble home and the dead bodies of his parents. They held a short funeral for them as they burned their bodies -the parent's wishes were that all that they owned would be scattered throughout the land. A quick search was made for Stardash, but he was presumed dead and the soldiers had to return to their town. Stardash cried for hours at the sight of his home, But eventually he stopped. He wiped away the tears and focussed. He had enough common knowledge to know about skeletons and -sure enough- no skeletons were present in the smouldering ruin. What Stardash didn't know, was that -under enough heat- the bones had become ash. Stardash didn't know why his parents had left. He didn't know where they had gone or why they had burnt the house down. But he was ready to go. He was prepared for an adventure. The alternate personality found these turn of events hilarious. It had expected Stardash to have realised what had happened where upon Stardash would crack and the it would have control. Oh well, it just had to wait until Stardash figured it out. Then it would have full control. http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/7804752/undead-elf/ I made this skin specifically for this server.

My character would be 18 -in living years as he spent time being dead (see backstory)- Many years ago, a creature was created. It was the work of Tyrion (with the power of Rott and Freyj) who created the creature. it was an attempt to make a new weapon to bring destruction and chaos to the world so as to bring Iblees back. This creature had power in necromancy and was less susceptible to injury. It was given the form of a wood elf -creatures of peace and happiness who had long since been a target of the terror and anger of the Nether-. This would allow the creature to become part of the wood elf society, before destroying them all when the time came. Tyrion grasp on Aegis was weak however, and he was unable to create a new form for his weapon. Instead, he searched the land for a pre-existing body to hold the creature. His attention was caught by a young orphan elf. The elf was playing around with the animals -his joy making Tyrion mad with anger-. Tyrion then focussed on the boy elf and entered his mind. Once inside of the elf, it was a simple matter of suicide. Upon the elf's death, Tyrion forced his creation into the it's body. But the creature did not respond. It lacked a soul. Begrudgingly, Tyrion detached a piece of his own corrupted soul and forced it into the body. Then it woke up. The 'boy' then made his way to many different societies (tending to stick to the realm of Athera where the most joy needed to be destroyed). He would become a part of them before destroying them completely. He would find their weak points and attack with his full necromancy might. Unlike the conquerors before him however, the creature worked in secret. This lead to races and nations pinning the blame for the attacks on one another. Eventually, the creature was defeated. He had made his way into a human settlement and was spreading his chaos -like always- when something went wrong. He had not been the only one attacking. A day after he arrived, the elves struck a fatal blow to the town. The elves blamed the town for their own most recent attack -caused by the creature-. They gathered their mages and struck the town with one long blast of pure magic. The inhabitants and the buildings were obliterated -along with the creature-. The magic was strong enough so that -when Tyrion tried to revive his creation- he was blocked. After the creature was gone, each race slowly began to realise their mistakes. Upon seeing that none of them were to blame for their land's destruction, they made peice. The destroyed civilisations were tainted with fear and death and so were left in ruin while their inhabitants were buried. The creature -looking like an elf- was also buried and was left. His body did not rot due to the necromancy that had made him, but he was still dead. There he lay for thousands of years, until a new evil dawned. Archwraith Nimdravur had created a cult of dark evil necromancers intent on bringing back Iblees. They rose many dead to join their cause -some of which were risen from the many ruins in Athera. Amongst these dead, came the creature. It's soul was complex enough to take days to return -by which time the cult had moved on-. Upon seeing this, Tyrion immediately tried to connect with the creature. But something blocked him. Something within the creature. Another soul. For with the creature had come the original owner of its body. The young orphan elf. His entire soul quickly became dominant above the portion of Tyrion's which still resided in the body. Coming back from being for so long had a toll on the boy. He was weak with exhaustion and his memories were weak. He still believed himself to have just been playing with those animals -all those centuries before-. Unsure of what to do, the kid would make his way towards civilisation in an attempt to learn what had happened. Meanwhile, the piece of Tyrion's soul lay in wait. It knew that once the orphan learnt what had happened -and what his body had done- his soul would simply lose all strength, and Tyrion would be back in control. He just had to wait. And if the boy ever got stuck, Tyrion could pretend to help. Get the boy's trust, then destroy him. He had it all planned out. When the orphan soul -known as Stardash- is in control, he is happy, hopeful and innocent and tends to be ignorant of danger. When the part of Tyrion is in control, he is ruthless, evil, insane and will happily kill anyone and anything. The Orphan soul simply wants everything to be peaceful and to learn what happened. The part of Tyrion wants to destroy the world to bring back Iblees. As the orphan soul, he has high charisma and can talk most people out of fighting. He also takes less notice of damage. As the part of Tyrion, he is smart and ruthless and has strong necromancy powers. Both parts have high -magic induced- strength. As the orphan, he has no fighting experience or magic and is extremely careless. As the part of Tyrion, he can easily go back to the inexperienced orphan soul at any moment, and has to make sure that the orphan soul is somewhat OK with his actions. Stardash is a wood elf with pale skin -due to the fact that he was dead-. He is skinny and has next to no muscles. When the part of Tyrion is in control, his eyes go red. http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/7804752/undead-elf/ I made this skin specifically for this server. I know the server said no special back story and no special powers, but I wanted my character to be: A: Undead. B: Less susceptible to damage. C: Have a good and bad personality. D: Be brand new to the world. E: Have an evil personality with necromancy. The only way I could find to do all this was with the above backstory. I tried to compensate for that by making my character less wise. By making my character have no experience. And by only having the ability of necromancy for extremely short periods. My character also doesn't know about their own backstory and chances are that he never will. To any outside viewers: My character is just an abnormally pale elf who is somehow quite strong and less susceptible to pain. And my character has short random phases where he goes crazy and powerful for some reason. This backstory is just to explain why my character can do these things. This is probably not aloud but if it isn't, could you recommend a possible backstory which would fit in the above whilst staying within the server rules?
