  1. Out-Of-Character Information Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft account name?: Madbunnybadmoney How old are you?: 19 years Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Affirmative Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Indeed What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "Arson or other means of property destruction are not allowed except during warclaims or with the plot owner's OOC permission." Destruction of other player's hard work is immature and utterly disrespectful. My belief is that there should be zero tolerance for such behaviour. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): I'm just a tad confused regarding the syntax to be used when chatting locally OOC. Should the message just be within parentheses? How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Referred by an existing player. Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): N/A Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial of your application! What is roleplaying?: Most simply, roleplaying is pretending to be something you're not. It is taking on the role of someone or something other than you, whether it be real or fictional. Roleplay is the most effective when an individual immerses themselves and truly becomes the character they are portraying. What is metagaming?: In a roleplay setting, metagaming is in-character use of information obtained OOC. This is especially true if there is absolutely no way the character could have otherwise obtained the information. What is powergaming?: Essentially, powergaming is forcing your actions upon another player. The other player is not given a chance to respond to, interact with, or decline the action. An example would be "/me slashes Jerry in half." In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Mikhael Severnaya Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Human - Farfolk Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 47 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Mikhael was born in Athera, shortly before it's destruction. He exited the womb directly into his aunt's and uncle's arms - who he was immediately abandoned with. In the past, they had been relatively successful farmers, due to their fortunate location within a rare fertile crescent. But with this new child in their home, their luck took a turn for the worst. Their crops withered, the livestock died of disease. Considering his extreme poverty, Mikhael's uncle took his own life. Shortly after, his aunt followed suit, deciding she couldn't live on without her beloved. Mikhael was left alone at the young age of 8. He told no one of the rotting corpses in his home, and the stench eventually forced him to move out. His only hope of survival for years was thievery, living off of stolen crops from the neighboring farm for several years. However, a drought was soon upon them, and their crops wilted as well. Mikhael was forced to flee to Vailor in 1513. But wherever he went, he seemed to bring bad luck with him. At this point, Mikhael was old enough to provide for himself. He studied and mastered the art of leather crafting, and his wares were selling as quickly as he could produce them. Every several months, however, his curse would bring economic downturn to the area, and he would be forced to relocate. During his travels, Mikhael courted many women along the way, but could never seem to find "the one." One day, however, he fitted a tunic for a maiden so gorgeous, so perfect for him that he insisted it was meant to be - Celeste. Unfortunately, Celeste was on her way to fend against the attacks of the Ducal Coalition. All she could do was promise to return for Mikhael, and she kept her word. Celeste endured grueling battles, motivated only by the one waiting for her return. The two were married shortly after Celeste came back, and Mikhael's sales continued to be phenomenal. But his curse had not lifted. Approximately 2 years later, thieves robbed him of his life savings. Celeste left him, gouging out both of his eyes along the way. Mikhael now roams the Isles of Vailor, living a nomadic, solitary merchant lifestyle. He claims there is one way that he can still see: by communicating with his "magical" stones (they have no other powers). It's been quite a while since any strange, unfortunate events have occurred... Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Mikhael is known to be mildly bipolar... one can never know what mood to expect he'll be in. He has a nasty habit of pulling people close, building relationships, and then abruptly abandoning them. Mikhael takes great pleasure in journeys through the wilderness, and the sights that come with them. He also has an interest in music, and has even tried his hand at songwriting. One thing Mikhael absolutely despises (which has unfortunately gotten him into some tough situations) is being told what to do. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Mikhael would very much like to do the right thing. He is exceptional at crafting leather and knives, and even has a knack for potato farming. However, with his farming expertise limited to one crop, and his tendency to be easily taken advantage of, honorable business just hasn't brought much success. Mikhael has been leaning more toward thievery to make a living as of late, but would take any opportunity to redeem himself. His goal is essentially to find his purpose and rise to it. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Mikhael is a phenomenal manufacturer of leather goods and knives, as well as a considerably skilled farmer. He likes to think that he is good at the violin, but most others would tell you otherwise. Also, his upbringing afforded him plenty of skill in the art of theft. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) People skills are a genuine problem for Mikhael. Also, he may be decent with a bow, but fails miserably when faced with any other form of combat. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Mikhael is 6"1' with a rather lanky build. He's always thought his head to be disproportionately big in comparison to his body. He has golden-brown hair, lightly tanned skin, and pale blue (almost grey) eyes. His body is free of blemishes, with the exception of a small scar on his left thumb. Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.) I'm nearly completely satisfied with the skin I've uploaded, with the exception of the brown eyes. I'm clueless when it comes to skin editing, so any help would be much appreciated :)
