I agree, I like 1.9+ pvp more than 1.8- pvp for small fights.

But...for warclaims it just lags too much and it's impossible to have a decent fight.

I would like 1.8 combat but with the shields being able to block arrows.

Alexander Merentel would be celebrating the victory with his courlanders camrades and would tell them with a jar full of ale:

"The Victory of today has reminded our imperial enemies that they beloved Empire will soon fall. They don't believe it but we have never had such an organized and strong army for The Rebellion as we do now.

If I were an Oren noble I would think it twice to keep fighting for them. Especially, because If they don't join us I am pretty sure they won't be nobles anymore."

Actually we voted in the poll that a GM initiated to clearly continue fighting and I don't even know why the GMs declared initially this a draw and suddenly stopped the pvp, even if we were are all lagging we have voted to keep fighting, democracy should be respected.
