Roleplaying is almost like a storybook. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is taking out of character information and putting it in character. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is forcing a set of events to happen to a different player. One example is if you type “*Jack swings his sword, cutting into Leo’s leg*”. Lisa Dee and Felix Dee give birth to Jay Dee in the outskirts of Felsen in a small house on a tree. At the age of 4 a group of high elf bounty hunters had climbed up the tree and stood outside Jay’s parent’s home. They demanded that they open the door or they would have to take them by force. Her parents knowing the hunters had arrived they moved a colored rug which revealed a secret door. They opened the secret door and pushed Jay in. They told her to speak a word and the next second they closed the door and put the rug back. Jay confused but scared obeyed her parents. Not too soon after the soldiers came crashing in. Jay heard angry yells and yelps in pain. Soon the fighting stopped. “Take them away now!” one of the soldiers crowed to the others. “ After all of these years. . . you thought we wouldn’t find you two? You two are still on the wanted papers after all. . . what was the amount. . . I don’t quite remember but you two are worth plenty “ the bounty hunter said. “You two caused quiet a riot that time, i still don’t see how you can still stand Phaedrus Lle’hileia” he chuckled, “We should get going. . . lets go boys we have an award to claim! “. Jay heard the Hunters open the door and go back down the tree. Jay stayed there for a whole 4 hours. Eventually curiosity got the best of her and she got out of the secret door. Slight amounts of blood and chunks of decorative wood lay scattered across the room. Jay heard someone else coming up the tree. She quickly picked up a small but blunt piece of wood to protect herself. Not to long after an old weary man (highlander)’s voice resonated throughout the room,” hello? Is anyone still here? “ he asked in the language she could understand. The elder eventually found Jay with the wood piece in hand. “Woah there, im not going to hurt you. I heard yelling and screaming. Is everything alright? “ The elder man asked. Jay shook her head and began to sob. It took 15 minutes for the elderly man to gain Jay’s trust. After gaining her trust he took her to the city of Felsen. “ the names Jared by the way “ the older man added in. “ h-how do you know my language? “ Jay said nervously. “ Oh that. I had a friend who taught me how to speak your language. Lucky for you if you didn’t speak that language I wouldn’t be able to gain your trust. “ the old man replied. “ n-no i don’t mean that… i mean how did you know to speak that language when you entered… “ Jay mumbled. “ Well i don't exactly know…. I guess it was…. A feeling? “ the old man answered. Finally they reached a small but fancy house. *years pass* Jared had taught her about her culture. He taught her about the ancient homeland of the elves. He went into great detail about the laws during that time such as the Silver law. Finally he talked about the conflicts of the woodland elves and the high elves. He taught her how to string a bow and use a knife. Jared and Jay had great years together, but eventually it was time for Jared to move on. He passed away when Jay was 18 years of age. Jay had to learn to live on her own. She practiced the arts of pickpocketing and stole from the markets that always seemed to have the food Jay likes. Jay since then hasn’t bonded with any other person. She lives alone for now hoping that the next day will offer a new adventure. Old memories of the past lurk in her head. Her hate for the highelves still strong as if the attack happened today. She hopes they’ll learn to stop fighting with her kind, she doesn’t like it and she doesn’t plan to get used to it. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): She was born in Felsen. Her father's name was Felix Dee and her mother’s name was Lisa Dee. Jay was born with two different color eyes. At first the family panicked and thought it was a sign of evil, eventually they took her to a doctor. The doctor had said it was just a birth defect and that they shouldn’t worry about it. Since then everyone has gotten used to her oddly colored eyes. The family lived in a small but fancy two story house. Jay made many friends in the neighborhood and was loved by all of the children’s parents. She was always honest and knew how to put a smile on someone's face. She will never forget the day when she was 6. Two men around the age of 24 broke into their house. They killed both her parents, stealing their valuables and abducted Jay. Jay was eventually sold into slavery. After being traumatized, she learned to not trust most people. She was sold to a highlander named Issac Burner. Issac Burner was a cruel man with an evil grin. He had a hook on one hand. He wore fancy steampunk-like clothes every day. Jay served as a house slave along with two other people, Derick Jean and Molly Turner. Jay had learned to cook, clean, wash and hunt for her master. At the age of 15 all three of them conspired to kill Issac. They came up with the idea to poison his dinner. Although they killed Issac his overseer, Wilson Bukin chased after them. Guards were called over and the chase began. Jay quickly picked up a small hunting knife and a wooden shield and ran. She was separated from both Derick and Molly. She ran into the nearby woods. The guards stopped and decided to find the other two escapees. She ran deeper and deeper into the forest until she could no longer see their torches. She climbed up a tree and decided to wait till morning. After acquainting herself to the forest, she built a small shack in a tree. There she practiced hunting with a bow she had made. Eventually she returned to civilization (at the age of 18). Since then the guards have completely forgotten about her. She eventually met up with a 25 year old man named Peter Mahoy. He taught her the arts of stealing from food markets and pickpocketing the rich. Together they made a great team. They basked in the riches and ate plenty each night. One unfortunate day, Peter was caught stealing and was sentenced to death. Peter had a long record of stealing and assaults with others. During this time Jay was stealing from the markets and rich. When she returned to their little “home” she was unable to find him. Word quickly spread that Peter had been sentenced. After grieving over her newfound friend, she continued with her way of life, knowing there was no way she could save him. After learning to work alone she learned to be a great liar and learned to be crafty when in sticky situations. Eventually she was able to recover and has made great friends since then. Sometimes when she is alone in the dark, she hallucinates. She sees and hears people that actually aren’t there. When in that situation she can become extremely violent and or scared.
