Biography: My mother and my father arrived in Krinfird, escaping from a disease that was plaguing their remote settlement. They lived there for 8 years then gave birth to my older brother, Dmitry. I was born 3 years later. I never knew the origin of my parents, just their brief, summarized story, which I always skeptical about. My father owned a tavern, after it's previous owner had given it to him. I would live and work their for the next 20 years, working late nights shifts, when it would have a full house. I would receive income, just as any other employee would have. That money was usually spent on fishing equipment and baits. Fishing was a favorable past time for me, which I did with my brother on occasion. I met a fisherman at age 11 that taught me the true ways of the angler. Years and years blazed by until I reached the age of twenty. Around this time, I became the best fisherman in the settlement, surpassing even my teacher in the techniques and methods. Then one night, I was awoken by the ear-splitting sound of metal-on-metal. I ran downstairs and spotted my father and brother fighting what appeared (at that time) to be 3 bandits. Half an hour passed of sword on sword combat, illuminated by the flicker of candlelight. The last brigand fell, whom I presumed to be the leader, and a sigil, in the shape of a bracelet fell from their arm. My father grabbed it quickly as if it were extremely important to him. I would never know why it seemed so important, he never told me. We moved the bodies to the outside of the tavern, and my father ushered us (my brother and I) to him in the back room. He told us that is wasn't safe for us to stay here any longer, and gave my brother a letter that seemed to be very old. He told both of us to meet a friend of his in Savoy. Today is the day that we depart to Savoy.
